  2. DISNEYLAND PARIS 🏰 🌹 Nearly two weeks ago we got back from @disneylandparis & I’ve been mourning it ever since! Not so much the travel side of things, if you saw my stories, you know! ✨ Here are some highlights of our trip before pickle caught some sort of bug & the magic drained from his eyes 💔Such bad luck being he very rarely gets ill too! 🧜‍♀️ The nostalgia of Disney for me makes me want to recreate similar memories for Zac. The music filling Main Street, the smell of warm popcorn wafting from the carts, the vibrant colours at every turn, the unforgettable fireworks at the end of each night. I had a little cry at one point because I have such vivid memories of being here with my Nan when I was little. 🧞‍♂️ We first went the year after it opened in 1993 when I was 6 & it was called ‘Euro Disney’ (I’ll put some videos on my stories, ignore my dodgy haircut 😝). I loved all the classics especially Aladdin & Beauty and the Beast. But my fav has always been The Sword in Stone! 🦌 Every visit since then we’ve been loyal to staying at Sequoia Lodge. I love the woodland cosy surroundings & it continues the nostalgic feelings 🥰 I’m one for sticking to what I know, always! 🎢 Zac’s favourite ride was Ratatouille & It’s a small world 😍 He will LOVE Crushers Coaster when he is tall enough, he’s such a thrill seeker! James loved Space mountain & I just love them allllll!! 🍄 Nowadays I feel like you have to have some sort of plan whether that be the dining as it books up months in advance, what to prioritise, planning around show times & the list goes on. I wrote lots of things down beforehand to make sure we covered the things we really wanted to do & then the rest of the time is wondering around and soaking in the atmosphere & magic.   2. Today I exchanged - I’m finally a homeowner! It’s been a few years coming and next week I relocate my life to Derbyshire, at the foot of the incredible Peak District. As you know, Brighton is such an important place for me and it will always have a portion of my heart but I’ve been struggling with city life since 2020 and I have been craving a wilder life and to be closer to family and where I grew up. As a solo woman in my 40’s and one who is freelance so many narratives told me I wouldn’t be a homeowner in the current market but I’m happy to say that after 3 years of determination I’ve done it! It was touch and go for a bit but I did it! So commences my DIY and budget home renovation and some big changes to my business. I’m not sure how my career will evolve with this relocation yet but I’m keeping a curious and open heart and once settled I’ll be deep diving into some bold steps. In the meantime I’ll regularly be travelling south for commissions. So you haven’t got rid of me Brighton!
