She started HRT and started to improve, but because she plays competitive sport, she’s not allowed testosterone despite being deficient in testosterone.   2. If there is ever a day I’ve cried uncontrollably, it’s today! • I failed! I failed at something I’ve been striving towards for 18 months and I was getting closer to the end goal with every passing week. • They say failures are the pillars of success and I truly believe that, but bouncing back is always difficult when you’d given it everything and it still wasn’t enough. • There was a weakness in my preparation for a course no female NCO has passed before and the pressure I applied to myself because of this was too much and got the better of me. • My heart is truly broken. • I wanted it so bad so I could help other females along the way who have struggled in the past on their fitness journey, but unfortunately my journey has been cut short because of something that could have been prevented had I factored more into my preparation. • Was it my mindset? Was it my age and my body not recovering quick enough?   2. “It’s hard to dance with the devil on your back; shake him off” 1 year ago I text my Mummy and told her I was struggling and didn’t want to be here. That message replayed over and over in my head as I raced on Wednesday. When I struggled, when my breathing was heavy, when my legs felt lifeless I reminded myself of how grateful I was that I get to be here. I prayed every day for the darkness to be lifted. Yesterday I prayed for the strength to run my own race and not let ego or pride stand in the way of having fun. I finished my second Pro Individuals race with a 12min PB while racing against some of the best in the world. I didn’t have a time in mind, I just wanted to see what the head that I’d put a lot of work into in the last 12 months was capable of. Step by step, strength will always find me ✨

  3. 4th CrossFit Open: Top 10 in Ireland 🇮🇪 2024: 7th 🇮🇪 | 208th in Europe | 503rd 🌍 2023: 21st 🇮🇪 | 450th in Europe | 1,738th 🌍 2021 Saz sat 18,0001st worldwide in the Gymnastics WOD and 99th in Ireland. This year in 24.3, I placed 1,823rd worldwide and 14th in Ireland. The credit always goes to @chloehawkinscoaching who took a very Gymnastics challenged Saz under her wing and has somehow managed to turn it around 😂 Forever getting my money’s worth out of my lungs but continuing to get better across the board.
