  3. As a studio amp, this new @marshallamps Modified JMP is absolutely superb! Plugged it in today and instantly the midrange on it was total magic for recording, made it effortless for guitars to come alive and really satisfying to play through. I’m a big Marshall fan and this one definitely brings something new to the table as well as doing that classic sound. I’ll make a quick video soon if anyone’s interested. I recorded these songs on my own in a barn, mainly steamo, truth be told and mainly live (vibe init), all on a £90 mic from @astringsuk (best music shop eva), On a charity shop guitar from Llandovery, with 10yr old strings attached, capturing the emotions of life. After turning down several offers to appear on this years, ITV’s The Voice, I’d thought I’d make something, raw, real and the complete opposite of all that bullshit.   2. 📍 Yr Wyddfa - Watkin path I genuinely have no words for the sunrise we got to experience thismorning. I always order their tonkotsu ramen and my newly discovered love of their little bowls of rice and pork belly side dish (mini chashu don). 2. @thomasbytomsimmons ✨ another great fine dining experience in Cardiff. Their entire menu is incredible but it was their cheese board that blew me away. Incredible quality and very knowledgeable staff. 3. Chinese Fast Street Food ✨(can we petition that they get a bloody insta). I’m obsessed and everyone knows it. City centre authentic bowls of noodles. Get the duck or braised beef noods & ask for their homemade chilli oil. Thank me later. 4. @a.vines ✨ sneaky boy only pops up in other Cardiff eateries, but when he does he makes magic happen. Keep an eye out on his page for his next appearance. I’m gonna say it, best potatoes I’ve ever had were by Alex. Happy now? 5. @groundbakery ✨ one of the best breckies in Cardiff, but 100% the best bacon in the world. Leave room for their cardamom buns and gorgeous flat whites. Dog friendly, which always make me happy! 6. @mesencardiff ✨ talented boys cooking up tasty smokey meats. Went for my first time but I’m rushing back. That meat pic was a SUNDAY LUNCH. Yep. They do nothing by halves and the restaurant is gorge too! 7. @pocacardiff ✨ my favourite small plate joint in Cardiff. Their Sunday lunch is also incredible. This crab rarebit had my name all over it and I dream of her weekly. 8. @westpizzacf ✨ I’m a pizza snob, or at least I think I am. West Pizza always gets my vote. Rare you can rock up and order a slice in this city. My favourite slice is the Delme: fennel sausage, garlic and pickled chilli 9. @burger.boyzzz ✨Newport & Port Talbot based but they do grace us with their presence in Cardiff too! Best smashed burger in Wales. Boys, come back! 10. @thelansdownecardiff ✨one of my top Sunday Lunches. Great proper pub, good beer, dog friendly. Listen to Gwen and order the pork!

  2. CHINESE FAST STREET FOOD. New authentic Chinese side street cafe in Cardiff City Centre. Small rustic cafe with a traditional short menu, served by infectiously friendly staff. The lovely lad not only talked me through the entire menu, but was armed with a multitude of photos of the dishes on his mobile phone. So for those who need visual reassurance, he’s got you!! I love how they have no website, never mind a social media presence. Trust the people. Trust me. It’s good. This food is phenomenal!! I can boldly say this was the best Chinese noodle dish I’ve had in Cardiff. I aggressively slurped on the Red Braised Beef Brisket Noodle Soup and Boneless Roast Duck Noodle Soup. And just when I thought I couldn’t love the place enough…the lush waiter only sprinted over with a pot of homemade jammy spicy chilli and garlic oil.
