The thought of being vulnerable and handing control over to a team of people I’d barely met was beyond my comprehension. Had I not have filmed Radio Fama 2022 and met Beth Jenkins I would probably still be totally in the dark. If you struggle with painful periods, please follow her @endo_a_ni , see your GP and start getting answers. The research and recognition is finally starting to rev up. I know how lucky I am to be in a position to have gone privately as the (up to) 5 yr waitlist is something this 40 yr old couldn’t really wait for. I see this as the new beginning of our fertility journey and although nothing is guaranteed, I’m optimistic about the pain relief and I feel we’re on the right track.
