  1. Is this the most insane thing I’ve ever done? If you can find the hidden entrance to this old slate mine in mid Wales, you will ascend on an out of world experience Think long dark tunnels. Flooded chambers creating the deepest, clearest underground “lakes” Follow the train tracks and you’ll find the old mining carts and abandoned cranes 800 feet inside the mountain Unless you know where you’re looking the entrance to this Walking Dead world is easily missed (I walked past it the first time!) Eerily quiet. Insanely dark. And so so spooky!! Being the cold water and quarry addict I am, despite probably my better judgment and advice from everyone else, I was 100% swimming in here I spend around 3 hours underground and didn’t even explore half of what this amazing mine has to offer. I came across 5 lakes whilst I was here... Some of which were so deep you couldn’t even see the bottom! The ladders here are super sketchy with some sheer drops in parts. Head torch is definitely a necessity here. And whilst I went alone I’d strongly advise going with company * To add I am fully aware of the dangers of getting into the water here. This isn't a reel telling people to do the same. I'm just sharing an adventure I had that I bloody loved 🩵

  2. Remember my last underground adventure.... Where the Internet lost its mind. Well, I thought I'd give you all another reason to panic They said it was dangerous, reckless, stupid. Well who am I prove people wrong. Here we go again... Crawling through a 10 meter water overflow pipe takes you into this overgrown and flooded slate mine in Wales. Follow the water logged tunnels and you'll come across multiple flooded underground chambers forming icy lakes The ecosystem in this mine was something else. Growing in the middle looked like what could only be described as a rainforest! Jumping into my favourite kind of water.... Deep and icy cold. This reel is not for your 13 year old brothers (if you know, you know... And if not you're going to have to check out the comments on my last underground reel for all the bants!) There's something magnetic about the unknown. And yes I know the risks. I'm also choosing to ignore them. Wild swimming underground?! That adrenaline buzz is too much for me to pass up on So do your worst.... Insane, maybe. Living my best freaking life? Absolutely!!

Plot twist : the sky won 🧡 Arriving at the base of Tryfan to be told by hikers on the way down that we had missed the cloud inversion as it had all blown over Half way up the North Ridge scramble and we could see the cloud starting to roll in. The summit disappeared and then before you know it we broke through the cloud to see the most epic inversion The cloud kept rolling in thicker and thicker creating the most perfect backdrop for sunset What was meant to be a short climb to then head off to a second mountain for a wild camp turned into a 7 hour hike... With the majority of that time just sitting watching the sky change from blue, to orange, to pink to a deep red Descending South Ridge in the dark (thank God for torches!) and arriving back at the car to make the decision to sack off the wild camp and spend another night in the Tentbox. Am I mad about missing a wild camp? Not when the reason was the stunning A sunset so unreal it felt like the world inverted! The best early birthday present I could ask for!

  1. A MUST do trip for when you visit the U.K! The Nc500 is an incredible trip around the North Coast of Scotland, taking in beautiful beaches, castles, and so many quaint villages. Although you can do the trip in 10-14 days, if you have more time - take it! I wish we spent a month touring around slowly, as there’s so much to explore that you can definitely feel overwhelmed. I know this isn’t the most aesthetically pleasing video, but I just had to get my thoughts out on what a good trip the NC500 is. Name me a better view with such a short hiking time, I bet you can’t 🤷🏻‍♀️ This is Raven Crag (461m) 🚗 Parking: there’s a few free parking spaces opposite the beginning of the trail. 🚌 Public transport: bus 555 is a great option as well 🚶‍♀️Hike time: average 1-2 hours. Location: Raven Crag, Thirlmere, Lake District Although this is a relatively easy trail to follow, the walk itself is steep and does not relent until you reach the top, so your calves will be burning! 🔥 However, I think it’s worth it. Important: please don’t litter or have a fire here! This place is gorgeous and deserves to remain so, burning scorch marks into the ground isn’t cool! Simply, If you can bring stuff up with you, you can bring it back down as well.   3. Just over an hour away from Glasgow, the Cobbler should be on your hike list for 2025! The Cobbler, officially known as Ben Arthur, is one of Scotland’s most iconic mountains, famous for its striking, jagged summit. It is part of the Arrochar Alps and offers a moderately challenging but incredibly rewarding hike with breathtaking views of Loch Long and the surrounding peaks.
