The Schafler Ridge - Switzerland 🇨🇭 This is what I did: First cable car up at 7.30am from Wasserauen to Ebenalp 24CHF one way or half that with travel card Hike 45 - 60 mins to Schafler hut all up hill! (Get a drink and relax) Hike across the ridge, rails to hold on, big drops but a good path (if you don’t like heights I wouldn’t try it) Aim for the Mesmer hut was 4km ish and will take around 1.5 - 2 hours from Schafler hut Path gets better but still some cables and exposed bit towards the hut Grab lunch or a drink in the hut… 1 - 2 hour hike down to Seealpsee (lake) zigzag, take walking sticks Swim in the lake then hike down back to wasserauen around 45 mins Take plenty of water and food, don’t attempt this in bad weather, wet or windy or foggy, not worth it! You’ll need all your hiking essentials and very sturdy footwear (hiking boots) It’s a truly spectacular day out.   1. A MUST do trip for when you visit the U.K! The Nc500 is an incredible trip around the North Coast of Scotland, taking in beautiful beaches, castles, and so many quaint villages. Although you can do the trip in 10-14 days, if you have more time - take it! I wish we spent a month touring around slowly, as there’s so much to explore that you can definitely feel overwhelmed. I know this isn’t the most aesthetically pleasing video, but I just had to get my thoughts out on what a good trip the NC500 is. Name me a better view with such a short hiking time, I bet you can’t 🤷🏻‍♀️ This is Raven Crag (461m) 🚗 Parking: there’s a few free parking spaces opposite the beginning of the trail. 🚌 Public transport: bus 555 is a great option as well 🚶‍♀️Hike time: average 1-2 hours. Location: Raven Crag, Thirlmere, Lake District Although this is a relatively easy trail to follow, the walk itself is steep and does not relent until you reach the top, so your calves will be burning! 🔥 However, I think it’s worth it. Important: please don’t litter or have a fire here! This place is gorgeous and deserves to remain so, burning scorch marks into the ground isn’t cool! Simply, If you can bring stuff up with you, you can bring it back down as well. The Cobbler, officially known as Ben Arthur, is one of Scotland’s most iconic mountains, famous for its striking, jagged summit. Equinox and Red Sky: The equinox marks the first day of astronomical spring - although weather forecasters tend to refer to meteorological spring which began on 1 March. The equinoxes happen in March and September when the Sun is exactly above the Equator, which makes day and night of equal length.   2. Finally back home and with so many great pics to go through-honestly, I don’t even know where to start😄 Let’s talk Tahiti. An absolute dream, even tho the “behind the scenes” was just us being a sweaty mess on a public bus in 80% humidity 😉 (things You can’t feel through the screen, ha!). The island was literally a paradise: volcanic caves, black sand, tropical plants, few mosquitoes👀🦟 The only catch with the cruises is that you usually only get one day per location. I woke up in Moorea feeling pretty rough, so we missed the snorkeling with turtles and island tours everyone was talking about… but honestly-just sitting on a shaded deck with a bottle of ice-cold water (or beer) and watching the tropical forest from the ship was its own kind of perfect!🏝️🌋☀️ #tahiti #frenchpolynesia #worldvoyage #cruiselife #traveldiaries
