The bar has been self-funded by 33-year-old @kenyon_kate who has done a gorgeous job of pulling together a really beautiful space with intention and purpose. A lot of the drinks are functional and feature ingredients that are beneficial to your health which was really interesting to uncover as we worked our way through the offering. I’m looking forward to returning soon and putting some more of the drinks to the test, but so far so good. The drinks are pretty much in-line with prices at other bars that offer non-alcoholic alternatives, but I haven’t seen the full menu or final pricing just yet. Have you tried the Irn-Bru battered chicken fillets from The Happy Haddock in Macduff, Aberdeenshire yet? 👀 I headed north a few weeks ago to meet one of the owners, Davie, to find out about his Willy Wonka-esque flavoured batters and those in-demand chicken fillets.
