Contouring hacks! 💁🏼‍♀️ Now… I don’t know about you but I have watched soooo many videos on how to get it right and @lydiabarnesmakeup was up the other week so I asked her to show me so I could show all you!   2. HERES HOW TO PREPARE YOUR SKIN FOR YOIR WEDDING DAY 👇🏼 - Drink your water. 3 litres a day if you can. When you wake up the morning of your wedding, drinkkkkkkk. I can immediately see if someone is well hydrated because the skin is bouncy, glowy and will accept makeup far easier. - Exfoliate. Dead skin sits on the surface of the skin and will impact the way makeup lays. Try and incorporate a gritty Exfoliator and a liquid in to your regime for maximum results. - Get a good nights sleep if you can. It’s called beauty sleep for a reason 🥹🫶🏼 - Use a hydrating face mask the night before. Something like the @drjart water jet face mask for a shot of hydration. Your skin will thank you! - Exfoliate your lips and apply a really hydrating lip mask the night before. I love the @lush sugar lip scrubs to get rid of any dead skin. This is going to help your lip product sit well and last longer. - Don’t have a sunbed the day before (and try and avoid them all together, or at least on your face) as they increase the likelihood of texture and englared pores. Having one the day before means the makeup isn’t going to sit well on the skin, but if you do - leave it at least 24 hours. - Don’t put fake tan mousse on your face, opt for a hydrating facial tanner like @tan_luxe tan drops. Mousse drys out and dehydrates the skin and can cause spots and blackheads. Plus your makeup will not last as long. - Get facials! I recommend having hydrafacials - because they are creating the most beautiful base for makeup. They exfoliate, hydrate and remove any blackheads. Dermaplaning is also a good idea because it gets rid of any peach fuzz and it’ll make your makeup go on like butttaaaaa.
