  1. It brings me great sadness to tell you that devastatingly we lost our dearest Darren early yesterday evening. I spent the last week religiously by his side at The Royal Marsden and whilst I never ever wanted to lose him I am thankful that he is now resting and at peace. My sincere thanks go out to all of the incredible people that looked after him at The Royal Marsden Chelsea. You are superstars. There is so much I want to write here as Darren was one of life’s greats - a real character and a true gent - but I simply don’t think there is enough space. Everyone that met Dazza fell a little bit in love with him. Whilst my time with him was cut short way too soon, I look upon every moment of my 3.5 years with him as the biggest gift. I’m so happy the stars aligned and brought us together - we were soulmates and each other’s ‘one’. ❤️ I’d like to end this post on a lighthearted note and to show one of the many funny quirks he had that made me fall in love with him…. For as long as I’d known D he always found himself craving certain random foods - we used to call them the ‘hankerings’. Some of his many hankerings included the likes of a scotch egg, babaganoosh, salt beef bagel, pineapple pizza, mussels in white wine and cream and a Magnum! Two days before he passed away he had slept most of the morning and couldn’t speak that clearly. I suddenly heard the feint word ‘Mortadella’ muttered and I realised he wanted a mortadella sandwich. The nurses tipped me off about the best Italian deli on the Fulham Road and so off I marched in search of this special sandwich that Sir had requested. Whilst his appetite had really dwindled, he sat in his bed and ate every last bite of that sandwich, washed down with a can of coke. He kept giving me the thumbs up and called it his ‘last supper.’ Which heartbreakingly it was. In honour of my Dazza, I’d like to ask you all to enjoy a mortadella sandwich at some point soon and remember him. If you don’t know what it is and have never tried it - even better - you will thank him! He received so much support from you all on here so I’d like to thank you for being there for him. 🖤 Godspeed my love. 26.07.67 - 04.07.22

  2. I’m going to make this one short and sweet as I am now very tired. Suffice to say, my disease has taken a hold of me and is not letting go. We have been told to prepare for the worst. #bummer. We have always known the outcome to my particular cancer but have always prayed and believed in miracles. In this case this unfortunately hasn’t been enough - which doesn’t mean you should all stop praying and having hope - quite the contrary. These squares are important places to connect, share, support and vent, so please never let that dwindle because help is just a finger click away. It was for me and for that I am eternally grateful. As a lot of you know, I have been in hospital for the past 2.5 weeks and at the moment that doesn’t look like it’s going to change. I am sick and I need to focus now on getting better. Therefore I am going to have an instagram hiatus. It’s not fair on my loved ones (Nic in particular) to see me like this struggling, so I hope you all understand.   3. Happily Ever After ♥️ I can’t believe we’re MARRIED! 🥹 On the 24th February 2024, we had a beautiful ceremony at sea onboard @pandocruises Arcadia. Exactly 7 years to the day we met, off the coast of Australia, just the two of us. The day was perfect, so much better than we could have imagined. We both always said we wanted a relaxed day, and we certainly got that. It was everything and more and we’ll remember it forever. We had so many special touches and moments during the day, we both sobbed during the ceremony and said beautiful, personal vows to each other. Captain Matthew Nicholls conducted the ceremony and made it so memorable. Our lovely photographer @charlottechambers captured everything so beautifully and became so much more than our photographer. We love these photos. We’ve just shared a little montage on YouTube, so please join us and enjoy seeing a glimpse into the day. I also have a video all about the dress which I’ll share next week too, but I felt so beautiful and Benji looked so handsome (especially wearing a wedding ring!). We’d like to say a huge thank you to all the people who made it special for us onboard, they all went above and beyond and we are so grateful. Beach, party, good food, jungle tours, beach tours 🏖️ If you’re not going to Railay beach to stay, you can do a day trip from here 🏠 Stayed at Nomads and had the best time (but be prepared to drink, not sleep, have hangovers from hell and the time of your life for a couple days) 🌴 Jungle tour: Emerald pool, Krabi Hot Spring and Tiger Cave 🌟🛥️ Boat party: Gets a star because I met a couple friends for life on this trip. See beautiful Railay beach if you’re not going to stay, snorkelling, diapering (think floating in the ocean with a beer with your friends) 10/10 🌳 Kayaking through a mangrove forest 🍺 Nights out: Bar crawls, live music, pool, turns ‘clubby’ later COMMENT what part of Thailand you’re going to and I’ll dm you my FULL recommendations list 🥰🫶🏻
