The longest week of our lives but getting to take our perfect little girl home at the end of it is everything we could have ever dreamed of 🩷 I know your typical influencers create the most aesthetic after birth posts but I’ve just been taking as many photos as I possibly could on literally an hours sleep in 3 days 😂 (no joke I’ve been hallucinating 🤣) I actually did pack some Charlotte tilbury flawless filter for the birth HAHAHA the first contraction said absolutely not girl x I couldn’t have done any of this without @dan_hanbridge by my side and I only slapped his hand away once during labour which I am proud of 😂 our family have been amazing and I’m overwhelmed with the love & positivity from friends and all of you guys. My pregnancy journey hasn’t been an easy one but it’s been my journey and my story and I’m so beyond grateful for our rainbow 🌈 the most magical journey of our lives has only just begun and I’m so excited for all of the memories we’re going to make with our new sidekick. Now I’m off to cry, love you all ❤️ P.S - she weighed 8lbs 7 oz and was 4 days early (her due date was the 18th 🥹) - no sign of a big belly though lol! She’s a lot smaller in person but has the chunkiest cheeks I could die for 😭 Birth story coming soon 🩷

  2. Last weekend we celebrated my daughter Romy’s 4 Birthday (a bit early). We had a fairy and pixie theme party and it was total utter chaos. She loved every minute of it. A huge thank you to some amazing party people that made it such a fun day. Thank you Demi and Ross from @luxurysoftplaycompany for the brilliant soft play, bouncy castle and ball pit. I genuinely thought I’d lost Frank until I realised he was just taking a kip in the ball pit 😂. To our friend @actionamanda who is the most incredible children’s entertainer. A ball of energy who makes everyone smile and gets everyone up singing and dancing. Katy from @a_message_from_princessparties , aka Tinkerbell. Romy’s face when Tinkerbell entered the hall was a picture. She couldn’t believe it. That was total magic. ✨ 🧚 @sarahs_crafty_cakes for always the best cakes in Oxfordshire. Also shout out to my amazing husband who not only dressed as a pixie to please our little girl but also attempted the cha cha slide to get everyone on the dancefloor. Legend. It’s become a bit of a tradition that we dress up for our kids’ birthday parties but think we’ll both be pleased to see the back of those rubber pixie ears 👂😂 The things you do for your kids!

  3. Today is the first anniversary of our eldest child Deborah’s death. Deborah came into the world full of energy and never stopped over the next 40 years. The past 12 months have not been easy but we remember with immense pride and love the amazing impact she had on so many lives and the incredible legacy she has left. We were young parents when Deborah was born and the first cuddles and touches with your firstborn are something you remember for ever and cannot be taken away from you - life with Debs was always interesting, fun, and manic but there was always a determination in her to help others achieve their full potential especially in her teaching career. When first diagnosed with Bowel Cancer it took us time to realise the seriousness of her diagnosis but we immediately knew she wanted to share her story with others to establish open communication about a subject that many considered a taboo - you will all agree she succeeded ! We followed and supported her work in the last 5 years of life but also remembered we were there as her ever loving parents and grandparents to her children. In what became very difficult times it was wonderful to see the immense love and support she received from her husband Sebastien and their children, her siblings Sarah & Ben together with the unwavering support of their families. During her final weeks at home the atmosphere was unique but most importantly loving - we all understood what the end would be, although I struggled to believe that Deborah was facing the end of her life that she loved so much, but there was a determination to enjoy every last minute and experiences we had together. Although I’m sure nobody expected that Prince William would join us for tea & champagne!! Deborah you always provided a challenge but it was your ability to put it in the right direction and communicate so brilliantly that made a difference. As your brother said on the eve of your funeral - from the beginning you taught me how to live - you had that effect on far more people than you ever knew and that is why you were so loved and are now so missed - Deborah we love you for ever.
