  3. It’s been 20 years since my last Comrades Marathon, an achievement of a lifetime and, running one of the world’s greatest ultra marathons in beautiful South Africa. Nostalgic ! How times have changed. We should never again take the blessings we have for granted. Thankfully today, fortunate to be able to get out and join thousands of athletes running ‘alone but together’ throughout cities and villages in South Africa and around the world to virtually connect, reflect and celebrate the history, heritage and values of the Ultimate Human Race.
