  3. Sorry team for the radio silence! For those who missed my stories, the birth of baby Théo 8 days ago turned out to be a bit of a rollercoaster day of emotions! Agathe wasn't able to be delivered at Queenstown hospital and Invercargill hospital was full so she was helicoptered to Dunedin hospital in the middle of a snow storm! I managed to get there 3.5hrs later by car a bit of a wreck, I've never felt so helpless and it felt like i encountered every lazy sunday driver in New Zealand on the way. Thankfully I managed to get there with enough time to see him delivered in the theatre with a little help of some forceps. Nothing really prepares you that level of emotion. So far its been pretty tough experience regarding the lack of sleep!! We’ve been grateful for anything more than a few hours per night. I’ll let him off as he’s so bloody cute! About the shot. Taken a bit few weeks ago up at the remarkables with @jackburdenimages on a fine and frosty night! This is a 60 image pano shot at ISO10000, f2.2, 13s.   3. Autumn is round season. My first attempt at the 105km/7800m+ Craigieburn Round 3 years ago took me 29 hrs with gale winds plaguing me all night. I wanted to go back with perfect conditions. This weekend all the ducks lined up for another crack at the Craigieburn Round. A Thursday snowstorm covered the ranges with a thin layer of snow, which would provide invaluable drinking supplies. Sat & Sun, double yoker: cool temps, zero wind, clear sky, and full moon. A recipe for success. I set off 7am from Cass, this time anti-clockwise, on Rose Pearson recommendation. I am now sold, this is the best direction. Tackling the Craigieburns first while fresh I made good progress reaching Porter’s Pass at 830pm where I had pre-cached a food drop, including a thermos which was still hot! Fuelled up for the night I headed over Castle Hill Peak (waking up some campers) and through the Gap at midnight. A moonlit sky above, and the twinkling lights of Christurch to the east and Castle Hill village to the west keeping me oriented. I descended off the final peak Bold Hill and reached Avoca homestead at 3:30am, meaning I had to run the final 25km gravel road in 3.5 hrs to go sub 24…. A lot of maths and arm swinging later I pulled back into Cass, 23hrs 38mins, dawn only moments away. Massive thanks to Jen Tregurtha and Kate Morrison for their support!

These are the Sense Flare Tight in the Petite length & I thought it would be fun to show you guys how they look compared to the usual length. I roped my beautiful friend @zoe.vanpotaka into doing this with me. She is 167cm & is wearing the standard length whereas I am 151cm & I have the petite size on. We have the Sense Bralette & the Quilted Femme Jacket on as well. We’re both wearing a size S in the tights & bralette & an XS in the jacket. The tights & bralette are a gorgeous soft & comfortable fabric. Please join us for the opening next Thursday 7th Nov 5:30pm at All Press Studio, all welcome! Two Kinds of Vision honours the art of slowing down and the craftsmanship of handmade work, quietly resisting the relentless pace of today’s ‘attention economy’. Cindy Leong’s artistic practice investigates the intersection where abstract painting converges with Eastern philosophy. She is particularly interested in painting as a process of meditation. KIN STUDIO’s hand crafted timber design stems from memories experiencing life in rural Japan. New Zealand grown Japanese cedar is purposefully chosen for its practical qualities as well as embracing its imperfect weathered aesthetic. The @kinisi_running community takes the cake! @adventurian and @jz.evans you’ve created something so special. Blessed to be a part of it! Bloody lucky to have my family and friends flit around the place to support me - love ya all. Also boyfriend / adviser @adamkeennz (not my coach 🤣) has been instrumental in the success - TYSM! How much joy a little tail wag can bring, you taught us there’s something good in everyday. Hudson your were and still are the best dog. It was an absolute pleasure seeing you grow old and grey. It was so good to be back on my trusty trail, feel "normal again" and start slowly working in my mobility more and more. Is walking easy?...not yet, far from it, but I'm determined to get back to running!
