  3. Job gekündigt, die Wohnung aufgelöst und einfach mal losgefahren. Genau vor drei Jahren parkte ich mein Haus das erste Mal direkt am einsamen Strand in Griechenland. Es war der Anfang vom wohl grössten Abenteuer meines Lebens. Nun stehe ich wieder hier, nach einer intensiven Reise durch Welten, die mir bisher fremd waren. Auch emotionale. Dass ich drei Jahre später meinen Kaffee alleine am Strand trinken werde, hätte ich damals nicht für möglich gehalten. Aber ebenso hätte ich niemals gedacht, dass ich mit meinem Van einmal durch die grünen Wadis im Oman oder die sandigen Wüsten in Saudi Arabien gefahren sein werde. Geplant war alles anders, aber die ganze Reise bis hierhin zurück an den Ort wo alles begann, war dennoch einfach unglaublich schön. Der Kreis schliesst sich, ich bin heute wieder genau so glücklich wie damals und lasse das Mittelmeer mit besten Erinnerungen und grosser Dankbarkeit für alles langsam im Rückspiegel von meinem fahrenden Zuhause verschwinden 🌅

  3. Berlin Marathon 2024 🇩🇪🥨 A bitter-sweet race full of mixed emotions and valuable lessons. While a 1’ PB wasn’t what I worked for, I’m proud of everything beyond the time on the clock ✨ 🗒️ An intense 12-week training block, running six days a week, with no injuries, despite high stress and personal challenges. That consistency kept me grounded, especially after coming back from pneumonia 🫁 I showed up every day, and fell a little more in love with the sport every step of the way 💘 On race day, I fought hard to the finish line 🏁 Biggest lesson? Never start in a later block 🤯 Navigating through runners for the first 15km turned my marathon into a 43.2km mental and physical grind. From one end of Switzerland to the other, following the Via Alpina, a route that looks beautiful on paper but running it is a different beast. The hardest thing I’ve ever done physically, mentally, emotionally. Climbs that felt endless, descents that destroyed my legs, and moments where quitting felt easier than taking one more step. My feet are destroyed, my body is wrecked, and my mind is still trying to make sense of how its possible to endure this. None of this would have been possible without my amazing crew. They kept me moving when I didn’t want to. Fed me, patched me up, and reminded me who I was. Grateful doesn’t even begin to cover it.
