Happy World Red Cross and Red Crescent Day! چند سالی بود که جسته گریخته با صلیب سرخ و هلال احمر آشنا شده بودم تا اینکه بهمن ۱۳۷۶ عضو داوطلب هلال احمر شدم و در عرصه مربیگری فعالیت رو شروع کردم. همه چیز با تدریس کمک های اولیه و کار تیمی شروع شد. داشتن کلاس با امدادگرانی که با قلبی زلال و ذهنی آرام به دنبال یاد گرفتن و خدمت به همنوع خود بودند فصلی نو در زندگی من شروع کرد. آنچنان که فرصت های تحصیلی و شغلی که داشتم کنار گذشتم و ترجیح دادم کنار امدادگران باشم. در تمام لحظات بیش از آنچه آموزش دادم یادگرفتم و با جان و دل تجربه های آنها را مرور میکردم. پس از چند سالی کوتاه به پایگاه امداد و نجات کوچ نمودم(گردنه حیران) و‌ بدون شک این کوچ بزرگترین سفر زندگی من شد. آنجا دوستانی پیدا کردم بهتر از آب روان و سبزی برگ(فرشید، جهان، مسعود، یونس، جاوید، مصطفی و...) که دغدغه اشان کمک به دیگران بود. فارغ از فاکتور زمان و مکان به عملیات می رفتیم و هیچ چیز جلو دار ما نبود نه سوز سرمای بلندای سبلان و گرمای خیس جنگل های گیلان و نه تاریکی شب. به یاد نمی آورم که پس از شنیدن رخداد حادثه ای لحظه ای درنگ کرده باشیم و برای ما «حادثه معنای حرکت میداد». الویت ما نجات بود و خوب یادم هست سال ۸۵ با موافقت جناب آقای احدپور(مدیر عامل وقت استان اردبیل) پایگاه نجات کوهستان جبهه جنوبی سبلان را در آلوارس راه انداختیم، چه زمستانهای سخت و سردی را گذراندیم و گاه برای رسیدن به مصدوم تا پای هرم ها دویدیم. سال ۱۳۸۷ بود که پس از دوازده سال نیروی داوطلب و امدادگر بودن به توصیه جناب آقای احدپور به سازمان امداد و نجات آمدم مدتی کوتاه سازمان بودم و بنا بر دستور جناب آقای دکتر موسوی(دبیرکل وقت) به موسسه علمی کاربردی هلال رفتم. در آنجا به تدوین سرفصل های آموزش های تخصصی پرداختم که پس از آن دکتر اسفندیاری(رئیس سازمان امداد و نجات وقت) دستور جذب مرا داد و پرسنل جمعیت هلال احمر شدم و مجددا به سازمان امداد و نجات بازگشتم. همه چیز خوب اما اندکی برایم گنگ بود. کارم برنامه ریزی اقتضایی جهت پاسخ به حوادث کشور بود که به آهستگی پیش میرفت. دوستان خوبی پیدا کردم و چیزهای بسیاری از آنها یادگرفتم. ادامه در کامنت ...

  3. Mountains especially at high altitudes are extreme environments pushing the body to limits. We learn and train to avoid and deal with medical emergencies which at altitudes almost always require evacuation and helicopters are the only way. There is some shitty politics that goes on behind the rescue scenes in Nepal. There are flights and national park clearance permits that are required even when it is an absolute medical emergency. We needed an emergency heli evacuation at Camp 2 on Manaslu which is at 6400m early in the morning. After permits and processing the earliest a helicopter would arrive was 10:30 am. We had reasonable visibility in the morning. We needed a helipad in a crowded camp 2. It didn’t exist. Add to that unpredictable weather, cloud cover causing whiteout and the challenge of trying to land a helicopter on uneven terrain and then load the patient became a pretty daunting task. After a whole day of waiting for the weather to clear @iamsimonemoro flew a daring and brilliant flight in zero visibility barely landing while @climber.abiral marshaled the helicopter into a tight space between two crevasses. Tight enough the helicopter touched and pushed him which is why he’s anchored - a sign of preparation and his heli marshaling training through @nnmga and @ifmgaofficial Between Abiral’s marshaling and Simone’s flying, a late but successful rescue was carried out. It was such a relief seeing the helicopter fly away after our @himalayanholidaysnepal team finally placed our client in the helicopter. It was a delicate operation but our client made a full recovery. I can’t stress enough how many things could have gone wrong if we didn’t have trained and qualified staff.
