Onge Ringo is Simon’s first song where he features another Nyatiti musician based in Nairobi, Kenya. Ahead of the release, Simon said, “Onge Ringo could not be complete without the voice and legendary spirit of Walter Koga who was born in Nyakach, Nyanza Province in western Kenya in a family of seven. Walter started playing Nyatiti at the age of 15 and his brand of music is more contemporary, fusing elements of modern pop music.
