Hi Uprisers! I'm Michelle. I spent most of my youth and early 20's searching for my authentic voice. At that time, I thought if I did everything right (going to college, having a good job) I'd find happiness and purpose. Well, I found myself losing my voice, confidence, and sense of direction. 2016 was my tipping point and I just kept thinking that the world needs change.. radically. Over several years of trials and errors, UPRISERS was born; a LA based streetwear brand rooted in collabs with activists, trendsetters, and warriors of change to create an eclectic approach to storytelling. This is explained by our own motto: “What you wear is what you represent."
