  2. Healthy food ideas and recipes for picky toddlers and kids! Carter is extremely picky and these are some foods that he will actually eat. I also try 3 new recipes and Carter taste tests them. To see more Carter follow me on instagram @vasseurbeauty RECIPES Healthy Smoothie for Picky Toddlers 1 cup milk 1/2 a banana large handful of spinach 2-3 TBS of nut butter (if your child won't eat, try adding a small amount of fruit) Healthy Green Pancakes Recipe 3 eggs 1 banana 2 TBS of nut butter Large handful of spinach 1/2 cup flour or pancake mix Other food ideas - these are Carter's staples Roasted butternut squash and sweet potato (400 degrees for 18-20 mins) Bite size frozen veggie mix Beans Sauces on meat - low sugar ketchup, cranberry sauce, BBQ sauce and teriyaki sauce. I will put these on rotisserie chicken, salmon, ground turkey, eggs, etc. Cod recipe - Carter didn't like (probably the texture or that it was something new) but may still be worth trying. If Carter doesn't like something I try again a few times. Bake cod at 350 for 12-15 mins and add with sauce of choice. Grilled cheese with spinach. Add some chopped up spinach on grilled cheese. I find that it's better when the spinach is in smaller chunks so they can't pull out large pieces. Veggie Turkey Meatballs 1 pack ground turkey, 2 eggs, frozen veggies in small pieces, 1/2 cup ketchup, 1/4 cup breadcrumbs. Roll into balls and cook in skillet alone or in pasta sauce. Carter loved this! I added more ketchup on top when feeding it to him. ****Let me know in the comments what your picky toddler will eat and I will feature them in a future video! ****
