Leaving for a new country, dealing with the pandemic, the struggle of finding a job and staying ever from family was difficult. I wouldn't lie, I had those moments in these three years where I felt sad, depressed and homesick. My home and family meant a lot to me and I realized I took so many things for granted when I was in Mumbai and I learnt how to be more independent and appreciate all the little things in life ❤️ 3 years later, I'm finally home, I have never felt so good. The joy and delight on my face to see my dad despite his age being over 70, came to see me along with my Bhabhi at 3 in the morning. My mom patiently waited till I reached home and fed me home cooked food so late at night. It felt good, felt so nice, feeling so happy. I can't even tell ya'll. Thank you so much my Canadian fam! Y'all kept me alive and I surely miss everyone sitting at home right now. Clearly I missed home a lot. For everyone thinking life in Canada and abroad is all fun, it is, no doubt. But y'all never know what we go through, the times we spend away from family, the timezone difference, homesickness and what not! Love and hugs for everyone who keeps their shit together especially in such times. Lobe y'all! But MUMMMMBAAIIII IS LIFE!
