  1. And finally my most challenging painting is completed and had a big unveil yesterday. I'm very glad to announce that everyone really loved and appreciated the painting. It is inspired from chola dynasty and I'll be putting up all the process videos and photos. I hope you guys enjoy the reel. 😍❤️❤️ Concept: This painting has been created in view to be graciously exhibited in the upcoming naval war college building which will be called as Chola. The inferences of the painting has been taken from the great chola dynasty who were one of the longest running Empire in South India and South Asia as a whole. Using her artistic license, artist Akanksha Agrawal has taken inspiration from the oldest records of the chola ship available, which is found inscribed on a rock and is called as Colandia. Chola's were known for their art architecture and sculptures, so taking inspiration from their statue of Nandi from the Tanjore temple at Tanjore, and the chakras, artist has put those as wooden carving on the ship.
