Cleaning: Cleaned the sprocket and chain thoroughly with turpentine oil. 2. Painting: Next, I applied matte silver spray paint. While the paint was drying, I cut a circle from an MDF sheet of the size of the sprocket and initially painted it aqua blue, but later changed the color to a darker shade of blue. 3. Joining the Chain: Joined the chain using a lock nut—this was my first time doing it, and I am a bit proud of myself for this! 4. Attaching the Circle: Used araldite to fix the painted circle onto the larger sprocket. 5. Drilling for Clock Movement: Drilled the center for the clock movement and attached the clock mechanism.   3. Can an old tire turn into a new ottoman? Absolutely! Made a brand new ottoman from an old worn out tire for Day 2 of #NineDaysNineCrafts 💚 in green color. Here’s a simple breakdown of the process: 1. Cleaned the tire properly—it was a lot of work, trust me! Phir painted the tire with white primer. Primer ke dry hone ke baad, I painted it with green color. I wasn’t happy with the light green, so the second coat was a darker shade. Used enamel paints since I didn’t find the exact shade in spray paints. 2. Until the paint was drying (it took 3-4 days to dry completely 🤣), I cut two round circles from 12mm plywood and sanded the edges a bit. 3. Phir I cut a foam of the same size as the plywood, stuck it on the plywood with Fevicol Heatex. Dry hone ke baad, I covered it with upholstery fabric using a staple gun. 4. Dusre plywood par legs attach kiye (got the legs custom made from a local woodworker) with screws, and then attached the tire with screws, adding nuts and washers for extra stability. Aur bas, aise hi ban gaya humara ottoman!
