Instructions: 1. Preheat your oven to 180°C 2. Prepare the dough: in a bowl, mix the flour and Greek yogurt until a soft dough forms. Set aside. 3. Prepare the meat filling according to your recipe. 4. Make the sauce and set it aside. 5. Caramelize the onions: cook them slowly in a pan with a splash of water (no oil) until soft, golden, and slightly sweet. 6. Assemble everything: roll out the dough, add the meat, sauce, and caramelized onions. Brush with a bit of egg and top with sesame seeds 7. Bake for about 30 minutes, until golden and cooked through. When i was around 5 years old, i started watching disney series, and listening to music, then, when walking around town and seeing big billboards, i turned to my dad and said “bghit nwli bhal hado”, 3 years later i put together the second slide picture, playing with what was pixiz at the golden times of facebook. I wanted to be an actress so bad because i loved how they had the power to portray emotions, i also loved writing, growing up i came to learn that you can write those emotions instead of portraying them, and since then the vision was clear, but for that i had to give up my second dream (sad to say to an 10 years old) which was to do something big related to music, because i didnt know better. Another era of growing up came and went, and eventually i realised that nothing is unachievable if you put your mind to it, and you can relate everything if you want to enough. I discovered the production department in film and events, at 15 i still remember, and ever since then, MNO NKHLA9, a lot of fights, a lot of convincing, but i had people who believed in me like Badia, Mhamed, Fatima, Hajar, and others, also thanks to Noussi for paving the way and going the audiovisual route before i did, that made the convincing a lot easier. Young basma who never left home without her mom risked for her dream and left to another city with nothing but Safar and other iconic albums in her ears and a bunch of romcoms in her watchlist, and it payed off 3 years later, countless movies that didn’t make it, a bunch that did, a little baby called tide to you, a LOT of health issues, management, moving ins and moving outs, mental health talks and mental breakdowns, dozens of music gigs shot through my different lenses, wether they were work cameras, digital, or borrowed cameras, before eventually having my own, and some shows booked, artists linked, and events coordinated. This is no small achievement for me, so the emotions are high, al Hamdoulillah. Thanks to each person that helped shape this dream, inspire, or was part of it.
