Two more days to the launch of @petite.elise.preschool my labour of love. 16 years ago when I had my very first teaching experience at Ghana International School, I would’ve never thought that owning a school would be my path. I grew up on a University campus in a home focused on Academia. Having a dad achieving a doctorate and going on to full professor to Vice-Chancellor and a mom with two Masters Degrees, my home was all about education. Beyond academic work, my parents also prioritized experiential learning. I started piano lessons when I was about 6 years old , my mom at the time would drive us after school to “Techy Kids” a club for kids learning to type ( which was a big deal in the late 90s lol) . I got to travel and live with my French host family exploring other cultures which broadened my knowledge on what exactly learning was. I had my daughter last year and everything changed. I felt inspired and motivated to give her the best start on her educational journey without compromising on quality. We have a solid board of experts from various fields that I’ll be introducing to you tomorrow . We have well trained staff and upgraded classrooms with no screens, just pure engagement through and through. Our programs are well thought out within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and we can’t wait to start with our enrolled students . May God bless @petite.elise.preschool as we open our doors this Saturday.
