Moving from the life you know, to the other side of the world is a daunting roller coaster of a decision - so instead of rushing, we took our sweet time. Our Christmas ... as only children, my son and I have a small family, and everyone in it is even more precious as the years quickly pass ❤️ Today, Miss Chloe (her 14th Christmas with us) was happy to pose for a snap (first time ever) then we went to lunch at my parents' home where they put on a delicious spread and the "kids" decorated the dessert. Dad modelled his @gransasso_official sweater, Sam's girlfriend Em brought beautiful flowers for me and Mum plus champagne, and then I hung out with the pool guy in my new @une_piece swimsuit and shirt dress.   3. 🏃‍♀️ Now that the dust has finally settled, and my feet have recovered, I just wanted to say THANK YOU! The @bridge2brisbane experience last week was something I’ll never forget. I set a target for my little team to raise $10,000 for @smallsteps4hannah and they absolutely knocked it out of the park. We raised over $15,000 as a team. We RAN 10km at 6am to raise money and raise awareness for an incredible foundation. Last Sunday would have been Hannah’s 36th birthday, so it was my absolute honour to be loud, proud, colourful and joyful on her day, alongside my team. I know she was with us the whole time. 💕 I’m so proud of all of them, and so grateful for their support and commitment to the cause. Another huge thank you to @savannahfry for pulling together my fitness barbie look, and being the best team coach on the day. @meavesbymedea absolutely slayed the hair, not a single strand out of place at the end of the race. Thanks in particular to @maddison.mgmt for your support in setting up the various publicity stunts, events and opportunities in the lead up.   3. Part 2 of trying to become a sneaker girlie and I think I may have cracked the code. It goes to show, sometimes you just need to try different things and eventually you will find what works for you. The three key takeaways on this process for me were: When you are trying something new, keep everything else you are wearing really familiar. It helps with the integration and your brain accepting the new item. When trying something new, exposure is key. The more you see it, the more likely you are to accept it. Sometimes you just need to change a little thing to make it work for you, changing the laces was a game changer for me. Let me know what you think - am I on the right track? I'm so proud and thankful for this event which was beautifully and expertly hosted by Alison Kubler with a special guest appearance and introduction by Leigh Buchanan @windsorwoo. Catherine and Ali spoke for over an hour on Catherine's career particularly in stage and screen, and the whole night felt like a beautiful coming together of Brisbane's fashion and creative community. I'll be pinching myself for weeks. So many people to thank but this event wouldn't have happened without you Leigh, Teresa Keleher @culture_vulcha, @aruga_au and @claireparviz. So grateful to @blokdesignco and @thestonewillowstudio for bringing their magic to the stage as well. An unforgettable evening.

IMB is our @fashion_queensland partner in Cutting Edge, a very special project featuring very talented Brisbane designers creating works in response to scientific research. We unveiled the works by @_joteo_ @lydia_jiang @krzysztof.bridal @_sommerfeld and @bulleybulleylabel tonight but have our official showcase on Wednesday night @bris_powerhouse for @brisbanefashionmonth. Anyhow I wore @sacha_drake and @artisansbespokejewellers and felt very proud of us all tonight. Come and see the work of our incredible designers at Brisbane Fashion Month (ticket link in bio).
