  3. my morning ❤️‍🩹 i used to feel so much shame and guilt when i was unable to complete basic every-day tasks bc of the mental processing it took. i felt like no one understood - including myself. overtime I’ve realised that to help me with these mundane tasks, manageable goals/to-do lists helps make it more achievable and realistic for me. heres an example; today i wrote ‘put rubbish in bin’, as opposed to “clean whole kitchen”. previously, i would see ‘clean whole kitchen’, and get overwhelmed by all the different components of the task, the thought each step would require etc and then … bow out and not do it bc it was all too much. now i am able to just put the rubbish in the bin, and wipe the kitchen bench. thats it. if i do more, brilliant. if i don’t, then that’s okay too. . . . #explorepage #explore #mentalhealth #mentalhealthawareness #adhd #adhdawareness #todolist #morning #motivation #real #inspiration
