  2. 1. We were able to develop a friendship first. Without introducing intimacy early on we were able to see if we actually liked each other as people first. Because of that, the friendship in our marriage is still there because we spent our dating period focused on building that over anything else. 2. We built our relationship on our faith, shared values, and our love for the people around us. This isn’t to say that attraction and chemistry don’t matter. They do and you definitely need it. But, we were able to focus on the other components of a relationship a lot more because we waited. This shows up in marriage because even if we don’t agree on everything, we always know we have the same goal. 3. Pretty much everything seems new and special. We went on a road trip this weekend and had moments like, “wow we get to do this together forever?” 😂 sounds so corny but having to wait for something makes you appreciate it a lot more. 4. It teaches you delayed gratification. We’re used to getting everything so quickly in our society. Waiting shows you that short term sacrifice has long term benefits if you’re willing to do the work for it. 5. We had to figure out others way to connect besides one thing.. which has helped us now and will be beneficial in the long run. 6. The trust is different.. because we were able to show each other that we have self control it’s easier to believe that now that we’re married. Also, don’t let these people lie to you.   3. Face card: upgraded I finally did Botox, fillers & started Semaglutide with @annemarie_aesthetics and I’m OBSESSED. My under eyes? Bright. Cheekbones? Finally there. Jawline? Snatched. As a makeup artist and model, my face is my canvas 🎨 and for the longest time, my nonexistent cheekbones, undefined jawline, and under eyes had me feeling insecure (especially when highlighting). So I finally took the plunge and visited dr.fombu at Anne Marie Clinic for Botox, fillers, and to kickstart my Semaglutide journey 😳and BABY, I’m obsessed with my new face!🤩 Dr. Fombu? A literal artist. I was nervous since it was my first time getting anything done, but she made me feel calm, heard, and so well taken care of. Her team? Sweethearts.
