  1. When it came time to find a new lounge for our home, it had to tick a few very important boxes: flexible, practical, comfortable, and stylish. We had two living spaces to fill, one of which was our family living area, and the other a more formal lounge area (ie: no kids allowed). When we saw the @kingliving 1977 model, we knew we had to have it. With its stylish curves, the ability to reconfigure and removable covers that you can wash and change with your mood, it is anything but your ordinary lounge! The kids are equally as obsessed with our 1977, it was like their new play gym, which, truthfully, was driving me crazy. So when @kingliving released a mini version of the 1977 it was a no brainer! This has been a total parent hack and has bought me countless minutes (maybe even hours??) to myself. Huge win. For our formal lounge, I couldn’t go past the unique shape of the Aura lounge. Influenced by the form of floating islands, it fit with our modern coastal aesthetic seamlessly.   1. Magnolia🌸Crohn’s disease - please read. In December last year my daughter Magnolia became unwell. She was diagnosed with the life long inflammatory bowel autoimmune condition called Crohn’s disease. Everyone’s symptoms and treatment is different, she suffers from chronic tummy pains, lethargy which makes her feel very flat and sad and has changed the way she and our family live our lives. All the people in our world know her as this first picture, happy, smart, funny, creative and full of life.. behind closed doors it’s a different story, it’s turned our world upside down. At this stage no treatment has helped but we have started a new treatment that we are hopeful will help. @zachr1 and I will be embarking on a challenge to raise awareness and money for @crohnsandcolitisau by completing 150km in September.   3. Yesterday I had my final session of DBT! I am so thankful I got the opportunity to do this program because it has helped me so much already and will, hopefully, help me for the rest of my life🥰 if you don’t know DBT is dialectical behavioural therapy and is mostly referred to people that have BPD (borderline personality disorder) but honestly there’s so much in there that would benefit pretty much every person out there. I’m so proud of myself for coming this far but I know there’s still a ways to go, most people find dbt doesn’t sink in until the second time and I know I want to refresh the skills I’ve learnt and that’s okay🥰 I’m always gonna be learning and growing, all of us are! That’s apart of life and we shouldn’t be scared to learn something new or admit we might need to go over past info we’ve learnt 🌱🪴💜
