  3. Dear Diary, Today I saw the devil in person again. I was followed on my way from S Köllnische Heide to Tempelhof. First, the creep sat opposite me on the bus, even though he already had a seat, and started staring and constantly licking his lips. I noticed him right away, and when I got off, I jumped up at the last minute, and so did he. He walked extra slowly close behind me, trying to look under my skirt at the S-Bahn stairs. At the S-Bahn station, I walked far away and didn’t notice him at first, until he got right into my carriage and kept looking at me from a distance. Suddenly, he jumped up and ran to the front, stood there, and harassed me the whole time. People noticed him, but no one said anything, while I was completely terrified. When we got off the train, I mustered up my courage and yelled at him in front of everyone, telling him to stop following me. He started laughing and said, „Whatever.“ the whole time ! I showed him the videos I’d made of him, infront of a lot of people and he wasn’t ashamed for a second and didn’t want to leave me. When I was sixteen, I was in a similar situation, and back then I couldn’t defend myself, and things ended very differently. That’s why I’m so proud of myself for speaking out, but just like back then, humanity disappoints me. Everyone just watched, just like before, waiting for something worse to happen. And this goes out to all men: If you choose not to step in during situations like this, you are tolerating this behavior and protecting the perpetrators. Tomorrow, it could be your own daughters, sisters, or mothers who become the victims. Courage isn’t optional. It’s your responsibility !
