  2. Herrlich war immer schon mehr als nur hübsches Essen für mich. Es war meine Flucht von Realität und Trauer. Über die letzten 2,5 Jahre habe ich viele Erfolge mit euch teilen dürfen aber für mich fühlt es sich nicht mehr 100% richtig an nur diese shiny Seite zu zeigen. Bevor es Herrlich gab habe ich Politikwissenschaften studiert, eine Ausbildung zur Kriseninterventionshelferin gemacht und wollte Sozialarbeiterin werden. Ich bin täglich dankbar für meinen Beruf, das Glück und alles was sich dadurch in meinem Leben verändert hat - aber manches hat sich eben auch nicht nur zum positiven verändert. Ich bin stiller geworden, hatte Angst mich zu positionieren um mich nicht angreifbar zu machen. Vor 2.5 Jahren habe ich nämlich nicht nur Herrlich sondern auch @abortionbuddy gegründet. Eine Initiative um Frauen bei Schwangerschaftsabbrüchen zu begleiten (unser Team ist übrigens aktuell vollständig aber danke für eure ganzen Bewerbungen 🫂). Ich habe das immer etwas unter den Teppich gekehrt denn ich wollte nicht das sich diese Themen mischen aber durch das aktuelle Geschehen in unserer Welt möchte ich klar Stellung beziehen und meine Reichweite hier für das nutzen, an das ich glaube: jeder Mensch sollte selbst über den eigenen Körper entscheiden dürfen ❤️‍🩹🌀 Ich sende euch Liebe und Zuversicht und hoffe ihr bleibt bei meiner Reise weiter dabei Hannah 🩵

  2. deshalb war es hier so still: Anfang des Jahres wurde bei mir ein Hirntumor diagnostiziert. Seit über 2 Jahren war ich immer wieder bei Ärzten, weil mein rechtes Auge geschwollen war und ich zunehmend schlechter sehen konnte. Im Februar wurde dann per Zufall (!!) bei einem MRT der Tumor (ich habe ihn Tilly getauft) in meinem Kopf entdeckt. Endlich hatte ich eine Diagnose. So gut es ging, habe ich versucht, mein Leben erstmal weiterzuführen wie vorher. Auch hier wollte ich mit meinem veganen Content weitermachen. Aber in den letzten Wochen wurde es für mich immer schwerer. Viele Arzttermine, Untersuchungen, Scans – und vor allem die Vorbereitung auf eine OP, die kein kleiner Eingriff war. Und natürlich rückt da Social Media als ersten in den Hintergrund. Die OP habe ich jetzt hinter mir. Und ich versuche gerade, Schritt für Schritt zurückzukommen. Ich werde weiterhin veganen Content machen – aber vielleicht auch ab und zu Einblicke in das Thema Gesundheit teilen, weil es jetzt einfach ein Teil von mir ist und es mir wichtig war, auch diese News mit euch zu teilen. Vor allem weil es sonst immer so ein krasses Tabuthema ist und das sollte es nicht sein! Meine Views sind durch die Pause extrem im Keller. On Zimmerstraße, a few steps from the tourist current around Checkpoint Charlie, Anjappar Chettinad is serving a very specific South Indian dialect of flavor “Chettinad cuisine”, the Tamil Nadu tradition famous for roasted spice blends, peppery heat, curry leaves, and deep, aromatic gravies. Anjappar’s Berlin outpost leans into that identity with a big menu, so come hungry! If you order well, this place can absolutely sing. Some dishes land with that “Chettinad clarity” flavors feel perfectly dialed in, spice balanced rather than aggressive, for example: •Mutton Sukka Varuval (n:67) 🥩 •Chettinad Prawn Varuval (n: 72) 🦐 it is spicy btw and it was our favorite 🤤🔥❤️ Also the bread variety is a standout: warm, satisfying, and genuinely hard to stop ordering!! But here’s the honest part: not everything comes through with the same definition. A few bites can feel a little “unclear” like the flavors don’t fully resolve, example of the Tandoori Jinga 🦐 (n:140). And the mutton Dum biryani (n:145) at least on our visit, missed that integrated, perfumed feeling you want: the meat tasted like it had been cooked separately and leaned dry, as if it needed more depth, moisture, or aroma. That said, this is also the kind of restaurant where your order strategy changes everything. Chettinad kitchens often shine brightest in their gravies, peppery curries, for example here the karaikudi Chettinad gravy. And dosa/parotta-style comfort 🤤 which I highly recommend especially the one with potato !!! Yet it never felt chaotic. 💙 It had that rare Berlin energy where everyone’s talking, clinking glasses, leaning in… and somehow it still feels cozy. The service deserves a moment too!! Sharp, warm, and totally on it, guiding the night smoothly even with a full house. We ordered like we meant it 🤩: yellowfin tuna with citrus and Tropea onion oh lallaa clean and bright; artichokes à la mugnaia with chips 10 out of 10! golden, earthy, buttery, maybe one thing about me 😅 I LOVE artichokes, especially sipping water after eating it, yummyyy it is so sweet 😍. Then we had the octopus skewer with Pimientos de Padrón and Brutesca sauce it was smoky, tender, and the kind of bite that makes you pause mid conversation. Hummus, sabich and the most delicious green salad packed with peas, string beans, and toasted almond shaves. @kitten.deli in Friedelkiez is one of the few places that’s always a solid choice - for years now. No gimmicks, no off days. Just exquisite quality, beautiful plates, and food that genuinely tastes as good as it looks. Their hummus is ridiculously smooth, and one of the best in Berlin.   3. Super affordable and delicious Korean food in Berlin Kreuzberg- Aigo Korean food at Kottbusser Damm 1 (Ad/invite) Last week I went to Kreuzberg to check out this new Korean spot! They just opened in July and they offer Korean food at such good prices. My vegetarian friend ordered pop cauliflower bibimbap which I think is a great choice for vegetarian friends and also it was nice they offered different levels of spiciness so you can choose! Also the owner told me the recipe of the gochujang sauce comes from a famous Korean restaurant in Korea 🇰🇷 my bulgogi bibimbap was also very delicious and for under 10 euros, there was full of well marinated bulgogi inside:) all the veggies inside was very freshly prepared also. Mandu and pop chicken combination was also really nice to share with a friend, very crispy and I asked to put both sweet chili and bbq sauce and it was very yummy!
