  2. As I board my flight solo to Paris on my birthday today, I find myself reminiscing about last summer’s trip to my favorite city with my boys. For nearly three weeks we explored all of my most treasured spots - places I had fallen in love with and cherished over the past two decades and was always looking forward to showing them. We ate, we walked, we played, we ate some more, and we loved on each other harder than we ever had before. Traveling abroad with them was the best part of my 40th year, and I can’t wait to see what my next trip around the sun holds.
