  3. May 6, 2017 on Virginia Union University’s campus — I saw him walk into the café and I whispered to my homegirl, “I love him… he’s going to be my husband.” And I didn’t even know that man. But that was the first time I heard the voice of God. That day, God told me who he was to me. Everyone thought I was crazy. Everyone thought I was delusional — honestly, I even thought I was delusional. But the message came across so clearly — it was like my spirit recognized his before my mind did. October 19, 2019 we reconnected… and from that moment on, God’s message to me began to unfold in real time. This man pulled out all the stops to show me his intentionality. He moved mountains for me. No request was ever too great. He has loved me in ways words can’t fully capture — patiently, selflessly, and without consequence. Every sacrifice, every quiet gesture, every time he chose me first, built the foundation of a love God told me I was going to receive back in 2017. He sees me. He believes in me. He celebrates me. And he holds me steady in the storms I couldn’t navigate alone. This man has shifted the trajectory of my entire life. His sacrifice & work ethic gave me the freedom to walk boldly in my purpose and become the woman God intended me to be. He is my best friend. My safe place. My answered prayer. My home.
