  3. Kev is very linear in his thinking and often struggles with adapting his thought process to situations that occurs differently to the way he has planned them. In the scenario in this video he had a budget of £10 for a box of choclates for his teacher and Kev never wants to go over his set budget. In the past simple situations like this can totally throw him off and even cause a meltown. He’s so much better now at listening to, acknowleding and sometimes accepting other perspectives with a gentle approach and careful explanation. We truly have come a long and I’ve found that tailoring my parenting meeting his needs has been the most beneficial.
