  2. i know, i didn’t do a loop 😭 for this video it just seemed so much better without one. brownies are also the thing i suck at, but these were so amazingly gooey and perfect. i also love the debate of “should a brookie be brownie or cookie on top?” so i’ll leave that up to you :-) brookies recipe 🍪 brownie layer - 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted - 3/4 cup granulated sugar - 1/2 cup light brown sugar - 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder - 2 eggs - 1 tsp vanilla extract - 1/4 tsp baking powder - 1/2 cup all-purpose flour* - as many chocolate chunks as wanted :-) cookie layer - 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted - 1/4 cup granulated sugar - 3/4 cup light brown sugar - 1 egg - 1 egg yolk - 1 tablespoon vanilla extract - 1/2 teaspoon baking soda - 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour* - 1/2 cup chocolate chunks + more to sprinkle over the top before baking *chocolate chunks can be replaced with chips, or you can put none in the brownies if you prefer :-) 1. preheat oven to 160c fan and line a pan (preferably 9x13 inch) with baking paper 2. for the brownies, in a large bowl add butter, both sugars and cocoa powder and microwave for 1 minute or until the butter is melted and combine 3. mix in eggs and vanilla very well 4. add baking powder and flour and mix until fully combined and gently mix in the chocolate chunks if adding 5. pour into prepared baking pan 6. for cookie layer, mix melted butter and both sugars together until in a bowl until smooth 7. add egg, yolk and vanilla extract and beat until fully combined 8. add in baking soda and flour, mixing until just combined 9. gently fold in chocolate chunks and avoid over mixing 10. drop large spoonfuls of dough on top of brownie layer and spread out to fill any gaps evenly (it doesn't have to be perfectly covered!) 11. sprinkle some chocolate chips over the top for presentation 12. bake for 25-30 minutes or until top cookie layer is slightly browned and edges are set. if the cookie dough begins to brown too quickly place a piece of tin foul loosely across the top. allow to cool fully for 30 mins before cutting and serving and enjoy <3 #baking #brookies #bakingtherapy #recipe #brownies #cookies #cute #browniecookie #cookiebrownie #bake #chocolate #fyp

  3. double chocolate blondies 🤍 i love spotting my mistakes and trying again, although i am a perfectionist. i think i overbaked the blondies this time, making them a bit cakey, but still amazing! i’d love to reattempt this… maybe i will :-) double choc blondies 🤍 (inspired by ‘thecookiedoughdiaries’ recipe) - 3/4 cup (160g) melted butter - 1 cup (200g) light brown sugar - 1/2 cup (100g) granulated sugar - 2 eggs - 1 tbsp vanilla extract - 1/2 tsp salt - 1 3/4 cup (220g) all purpose flour - 1/2 cup (80g) chopped white + milk chocolate (or choc chips) 1. preheat oven to 350F / 180C / 160C fan and line an 8×8 square tin with baking paper 2. whisk together the melted butter and sugars until it resembles a paste that pulls away cleanly from the side of the bowl 3. add the eggs and vanilla and mix again 4. add in the flour and salt and whisk until just combined, be really careful to not overmix, it will affect the texture of the blondies! 5. gently fold in the chopped chocolate until just combined 6. pour the batter into the lined baking tin 7. bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with wet crumbs attatched at most and the blondies are crinkly 8. let the blondies cool in the tin for 10 minutes before removing and placing on a cooling rack to finish cooling 9. cut into 16 slices and enjoy! <3 #baking #bakingtherapy #recipe #blondies #cute #blondebrownies #bake #chocolate #bakingrecipe #brownies #doublechocolate #fyp

I minced 2 large carrots, 1 pack of white button mushrooms, 2 zucchini and 2 yellow squash in the processor, gave them a good mix, and then made them into cubes using a spatula (make sure the indents are about .25 inches thick!!) and froze them overnight. See below for this perfect summer dinner recipe! POKE BOWL Serving size : 4 adults Ingredients: 1 lb of sashimi-grade tuna 1 lb of sashimi-grade salmon 1 stalk of green onion, thinly sliced 1/4 onion, thinly sliced Poke sauce: 6 tbsp of soy sauce 2 tbsp of sesame oil 1 tbsp of rice vinegar 1/4 tsp of salt 1 tbsp of sesame seeds Topping choices: Avocado Edamame Cucumber Pickled ginger for sushi Shiso or Perilla leaves Furikake Directions: 1. Cut sashimi-grade tuna and salmon into bite-sized cubes (about 3/4 inch.) 2. Place the cubed tuna and salmon into a mixing bowl. Add your onions and green onions. 3. Add the poke bowl seasoning and gently mix it all together. 4. Cover and let it marinate in the fridge for a minimum of 1 hour (up to overnight) to bring out the flavors together. 5. To serve, place cooled rice into large bowl. Top the rice with toppings of your choice and place a scoop of Poke on top. Garnish with sesame seeds and furikake. Serve and enjoy!
