  1. It’s the moments like these that made the fight and struggle so incredibly worth it💓 If you had told me years ago that I would be mentoring children with Alopecia, I would’ve never believed you. My journey towards acceptance took time, effort and appreciation of uniqueness that comes with being human. But here I am 21 years old, having lived 16 years with Alopecia and honestly I’m truthfully amazed with how things turned out. Introducing my mini me, Maeve! An incredible little gal who has completely rocked all stages of her Alopecia thus far⭐️ We met for the first a few weeks ago in person, she drove from out of town to meet me. We shared the most special day together, one that I’ll cherish forever. Maeve, you are an inspiration, just by being you beautiful🥰 #alopecia #mentorship #mentor #aloepciaawareness #baldisbeautiful

  2. When I go out bald I feel fearless, this is a part of me that I love to embrace! But this is a friendly reminder to everyone, if you see a bald individual at the mall, in shoppers or anywhere else do not stare or ask question about which chemo they’re on. Show us your love and support by complimenting or a simple authentic smile. Not a fake one for sympathy, because that’s the thing that will bring us down. I speak on behalf of the entire bald community, let us feel accepted within our own environment. Yes we stand out, due to how shinny our heads are, but that does not make us any less human than the rest of you. Alopecia is a lot more common than you might think, but the reason you don’t see many of us going out this way is because there’s so much fear to be judge or looked at. Help us feel comfortable in our skin. The next bald person you see, go for it tell them how beautiful they are. You have no idea how much that can impact someone’s confidence.

  1. I didn’t choose the bald life the bald life chose me! 🤪1 year since he helped me brave the shave and not a single hair has grown back. Can’t say it’s been an easy journey but I definitely feel pretty darn good now. And couldn’t do it without all of you! Thank you everyone for keeping me going each day and finding the beauty in alopecia. 💛✌🏻 : : : : : #alopecia #alopeciaareata #alopeciauniversalis #alopeciatotalis #alopeciaandrogenetica #alopeciaawareness #alopecianbeauty #alopeciaisfashion #hairloss #baldie #bald #baldiesarebaddies #alopeciafeminina
