She was a very private person, but if you were fortunate enough to be in her circle, she would do anything for you. She guided me through so many stages of life, always there with support and advice. Tenisha’s smile and personality could light up any room. She was warm, approachable, and had this genuine quality, but she could also be real and firm when needed. Like any relationship, we had our ups and downs, but one thing we never missed on was the joy of bringing our son, Chase, into this world. We had this pact to give Chase the greatest life we could imagine. I know you see a lot of photos of me and him, but make no mistake—he was absolutely a mama’s boy. You didn’t play when it came to him. You were always on top of things, from making sure we got to his activities on time, to keeping up with his schoolwork, and, most importantly, giving him endless love.   1. I was walking down a small gravel road that’s near a big lake as well as multiple small rivers. I abruptly stopped as I saw a fox walking towards me with a huge fish in its mouth, the fish was still moving as the fox held it firmly. I took a couple steps into the forest and remained still as the fox continued in my direction. I slid my camera off the harness, took a couple photos and a video until the fox disappeared into the trees. I remained still as I could hear the fox walking near me but I could not see it because of the density of the lush forest.   2. I saw a small moving speck on the lake, so I looked through my camera eyepiece to get a closer look and immediately realized that it was an otter. The otter was heading towards the shoreline so I walked to the lake, positioning myself in a spot where I had a better view. I waited as the otter, ran, slid, ran across the lake, it stopped once in a while to look around and continued on. Once at the shoreline the otter continued along coming towards me.   3. T E N 💫 Just an absolute emotional mess as I tucked my now 10 year old into bed tonight. No one can fully prepare you for when you bring your first child into the world, just like no one can fully prepare you for how fast they grow up and when they hit milestones like this. It’s tugging at my heartstrings. Theo my sweet boy, you have the worlds biggest heart and kindest soul and we could not be more proud of the boy you have grown up to be. You would do absolutely anything for your friends and family … and the obvious hockey. Watching you grow into the player you have become and the passion you have for the game has brought us so much joy. Taking shots in the basement is the first thing you do when you wake up before school and the first thing you do the minute you get home. You make us so proud to call you our son. Love you to the moon and back my darling boy ❤️

  2. Alien Superstar👽 One of my favourite parts of drag is the transformation from one state to another. While Makayla Couture and Makayla Walker are two different goddesses in their own right truly we are one and the same. That’s why this weeks runway felt so special and fun to me. This is so out of my wheelhouse and yet exactly on par with who Makayla Couture is. GLAM, slightly odd, and yet still the most beautiful thing to ever exist. Huge thank you to @coekiki on this garment I’m forever grateful for this piece and to @connormccalden who last minute took on the bodysuit🤍 Thank you @museumofillusions_toronto for allowing me to shoot this look in one of their many exhibits in the museum.   3. Well…. Snatch game happened LOLOL What a wild ride that was, I’m so sorry @elainecarroll, I tried to do your Mary Kate justice 🤣🤣🤣 ANYWHO, onto the runway look! This look is honestly my favorite look I brought with me to drag race. Every single detail of this outfit was just so perfectly planned. The pattern for the dress was created out of two McQueen Plato’s Atlantis patterns. One of the aquatic looks mixed with the finale skirt worn by @ladygaga in the bad romance music video. The entire dress is completely hand beaded with dyed moss attached and in total weights about 10lbs. The hair is one of my favorites that I did for the season. Extremely out of the box for me, but tied into this fantastical alien creature that I wanted to bring. The alien look backstory is that she is an alien queen travelling around the galaxy collecting flora from all different planets to help create her ecosystem and provide oxygen to her planet. The dress is essentially producing her oxygen which she uses her breathing mask to take it all in. I let @will.burgs take the reins in designing how the flora would look, and he chose to go with hand beading the entire dress (@kevingermanier inspo) on top of corset mesh. The gloves and shoes are covered in actual beetle wings to create the look of scales!
