  3. This represents a timeline of selfies taken starting the day after my accident (May 15) and ending with the day I got my stitches and staples out (June 7th). May 19th I was operated on for 7 1/2+ hours, to rebuild and put things back together again. As a go getter who has rarely slowed to smell the roses, this period of time has been a reality check of reality checks. No weight to be distributed to my left leg whatsoever for 4 to 6 months, and same for my left wrist for at least 2 months, has me some "free" although uncomfortable time on my hands. I'm in good spirits, and aside from pain, which meds do an OK job of dealing with, provided I take them, instead of being a selfish ass, and try to make my way without pain med support. Simply put, I'm thankful I'm still here, which, for a time, was being ranked in percentage ratios before the operation. I sincerely appreciate the hundreds of out reach messages, from fans, friends, and peer musicians I have worked with over the years, as well as road staff and musicians I worked with as a live audio engineer. Some people, when they find themselves in such a situation, fall into a depressive funk, and un necessarily burden themselves and their caretakers with attitudes. So's you know - THAT'S NOT ME! All the Best to all of you whom have supported me or my support to you has been accepted. I'm still here, and will continue to do what I can to fulfill my support for live music and people who need the support for what event might be in the works. Lots of Love!

  3. Home is where the heart is. • Not even sure where to start or how to write this. Vancouver / Port Moody you have been everything I have ever dreamed of or imagined. Six years ago @samanthakendrick and I packed a U-Haul and moved to the west coast. We had no jobs lined up, no community to embrace us, just packed all of our things and went west. We weren’t sure what to expect or how it was going to be, but what we were was open to all the new possibilities as we wanted to experience life out of our comfort zone. • Moving out west didn’t change my life, it saved my life. • It’s made me grow in so many areas, from perspective, to being comfortable with being uncomfortable, to embracing the possibility of the new, to learning how to be vulnerable, to growing stronger and deeper in my marriage in ways I didn’t even know could exist, (after it almost fell apart) and now we have two amazing boys who I could never imagine a world without. Life is so freakin short, you need to seize the day every single day (carpe diem) and know that trusting God in everything always wins. • I’m thankful for the friendships we’ve made along the way, some have become family and am incredibly thankful for everything they’ve been to us and what will continue to be (you know who you are). Thank you to @westwoodhonda, I don’t even have words to express how incredible this place has been for me. @jonathonwilson5261 thanks for taking a kid like me in and pushing me everyday to be the best version of myself every single day! You’re designed for greatness bro! • Damn… not even sure how to say it… but even just writing this feels good for the soul. Last weekend I gave in my two weeks and next month we will be moving back to Winnipeg. It wasn’t an easy decision, it’s one we’ve been stewing over for the past year, praying and wrestling with.
