More details on these steps I want to keep the videos short, so here's for the geeks The sauna walls are tongue and groove red cedar inside and outside, fanstastic to work with and ideal for a sauna. I insulated most of the sauna with 3" thick foam boards with reflective vapor barrier on one side, made sure to fill any tiny gap with urethane and then taped up the vapor barrier shut tight, so that the entire sauna is sealed, except for the 2 openings for good airflow. I still have to finish up the roof, the benches and aesthetic touches to make it look nice. Final sprint!

I built this sauna under one specific condition I realized I haven't given this project much context here as to why I built this funky curvy sauna, so here it is: A mix of family and friends came together to build a common ski chalet with lots of shared spaces and communal living values. It's a shared space for all of us to gather with our friends, connect and ski all together in synergy and solidarity. We all believe in a way of living that is better for the environment in the way we consume, that builds a stronger sense of community and that allows us to strive in a complex economical market by uniting together. Back to basics basically. So for chrismas, I told the crew that my contribution would be to build a sauna, that I'd be happy to put all the hours of work myself under one condition: They had to give me full creative freedom! Obviously they agreed and many many cold hours later, the sauna is fully functionnal and already being used by our community. Very few things bring people together like a sauna, ask the Finnish! Although I wasn’t able to come away with a medal, I felt that my performance here was better than it has been considering the lack of competitions I was able to go to this year. I’m VERY happy with my 9th place finish, and super excited for all the medalists: this was one hell of a year and they persevered through it all.   3. This past week has just been amazing. Despite the cold and damp air, the 2019 Pan Am Games finished on a very high note for me. Today started off with a 4th place finish in the mixed team round with @ahnnecognita, followed by a gold medal win with my teammates @eric_peters.97 and @bwellmax, and finished off with a gold medal win over the amazing Marcus D’Almeida. These two gold medals represent all the hard work and dedication I’ve been putting into archery this summer both on and off the field and I thank everyone who has supported me along this journey. To cap it all off, Canada has officially secured a men’s spot going to the Tokyo Olympics in 2020 for archery with the results here in Lima, Peru. Mission accomplished!

  2. Everyone has their ups and downs. Days where they love their body and days where they absolutely hate it. I promise you, we ALL HAVE THEM! • • I have days where I feel absolutely bloated and unhappy with my progress! Then I realize that I need to appreciate my body. It does an amazing job of keeping me healthy and ALIVE! I can continue to work towards my goals as long as I treat my body well! Progress does not happen over night. Out bodies constantly evolve and adapt to all of our needs! • • When I did this shoot I felt amazing.
