  1. 1880lbs @ 220lbs 717lbs squat 480lbs bench 683lbs deadlift PR squat, bench and total. Highly disappointed in my performance. Squat didn't feel great and came way under what I planned for. Elbow tendonitis flared up bad on bench and had to slow the descent even more than usual. Felt a big pop in my left pec going down on my third bench at 496lbs and dumped the bar on my chest. Fortunately just a muscle tear and tendon is intact. Pulls were pretty painful after the injury. Tried 706lbs on my third to lock in first place as well as a 1900lbs total, but just wasnt there. Eager to make the appropriate corrections in training and never let that happen again. Thank you to everyone who came to support and to @ssi_performance for setting up such a great meet. Special mention to my fiancée @isabelle__cyr for always being by my side, to my training partner @matcorb_ and to @_mathieudore for handling me on the day.   3. hey lovely people 🫶🏼 keeping it simple with a full upper body day:) mainly because i missed one of my pull days last week and decided to hit push and pull in one shot 🫣 that being said, these things happen all the timeeeee with the craziness of life and all it’s capacities, sometimes making it to the gym is the last thing on our priority list. (for some it’s the first thing hehe me 🙋‍♀️) but for most people that’s not the case! but the main take back is, nothing stays the same & even though some of us thrive on strict schedules and routines, the flow of our day to day life is constantly changing & it’s all about being flexible/reacting on situations in the best way for you. Finished in 3rd place at Canada's Strongest Woman this past weekend.🥉 Congrats to; @strong_memine on her well earned win! @sambelliveauu on making a huge comeback on day two and to all the women who stepped up this weekend and left everything out on that pavement. I had to sit out last year due to injury, which is never fun, but is often part of the game, so it was nice to be a part of it this year. I'm grateful to be able to make the podium with the new generation of strongwomen coming up in this sport and to do so without being forced to the glue factory afterwards 😂 Being one of the originals to lead the way for women in this sport in Canada, it makes me happy to see the growth and quality of athletes coming up. Although I don't feel the same level of love for this sport as I once did, I am happy that I'm still getting stronger and seeing improvement as an athlete and that's really what strength sports is all about. It's my role to contribute to the growth of the sport by doing, coaching, volunteering recruiting and taking opportunities to participate in media (thank you @sportsnet & @canuck_laddy ) and I will continue to do so. While we originally met briefly in the warmup room at 2017 Canadian Powerlifting Nationals in Quebec (as Ben ditched handling his cousin @ryankolesarpowerlifting to come say hi 😂) Our first date was a few months later for a week together in Ireland 🇮🇪 ✈️ . ....I was studying in Sweden at the time, and on snapchat (kindda as a joke tbh) I invited Ben to be my +1 at my friends Irish wedding.   2. No running water, no electricity, but a whole lot of strength and community 💕 . Nothing like one last deadlift day in the Lift4Life @lift4life_worldwide gym in Epworth, Harare. 🇿🇼 .   3. 400lb / 181kg deadlift ✅ . Anyone else have lifetime lifting goals? This one was one of mine. . I still remember when I pulled 300lbs for the first time. Its crazy how week after week consistently, little gains, piling on a few pounds here and there adds up. I firmly believe this translates to life too - never underestimate how little positive actions can lead to significant positive global impact. . 500lbs up next? 😜 . This pull was the week before Provincials. Unfortunately I couldnt quite pull it on the platform when it mattered 🤦🏻‍♀️ Lifting something in training is one thing, in comp is another. Exhausted after squat and bench (where I tweaked my back a tad), being amidst 4 flights of lifters, being up for many hours already with early weigh ins, in front of judges etc etc can play a toll. But thats okay.   2. A few videos from my first Powerlifting meet. It was beyond amazing to compete alongside some of the strongest women I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. This sport is so much more than just lifting heavy shit - there's such a sense of community and energy that just fills the room. I have so much respect for all the athletes who bust their asses to become the strongest versions of themselves both mentally and physically. This was hands down one of the best days I've had in a very long time and I can't wait to do it again! 💪🏽 I didn't have any PR's but I had a good fucking time. Je partage cette photo très vulnérable pour moi aujourd’hui pour normaliser un corps qui a donné la vie. Je comprends qu’il y a plusieurs femmes qui ont des enfants un à la suite de l’autre sans jamais que ça paraisse sur leur corps et d’autres qui ont encore le poids de grossesse après plusieurs années. Et c’est bin correct! Soyons douces envers nous-même, accordons-nous du temps pour guérir et pour accepter cette nouvelle image de soi. Et si vous avez une nouvelle maman dans votre entourage, dites-lui qu’elle est belle et qu’elle est forte. 🤍

  1. On my 4th day in the hospital, due to a bacterial kidney infection that went to the blood stream. I am alive, and I will survive. I thought it was a flue, it took me a few days to go to the hospital. Almost died, but the doctors and medical staff at Surrey Memorial are at the top of their profession. Glory to God for all things!

This year, we also managed to pay the mortgage and be mortgage free, and bought a new ev car . All my three daughters are in university, and I am very proud of every one of them, as they continue to grow in to beautiful people. 2025 was a good year!   3. I know there are many men in BC in my age category that are stronger, but they did not show up ready on the day the axe was handed out! I was there ready and I claimed it! The first time BC had a masters 50 years + category I was there to claim it. Also there to claim second place for light masters over 40+. Granted today I do not feel victorious, my knees buckled when I got out of the bed. Thank you to my family! My gym people! My gym! Thank you to the organisers. I am proud to be the one to claim the first lightweight master over 40 years back, the first the claim the 50+ title. The sport grew so much in the last years is unbelievable! Squat: 320kg/706lb Bench: 205kg/452lb Deadlift: 320kg/706lb Total: 845kg/1863lb Body weight: 88.9kg/196lb Dots: 549.8 That dots score led me to the 1st place overall of the meet and is also the highest score of all time by a Quebec lifter (in sleeves, all federations, all genders). My attempts were: Squat: 300/320/X Bench: 190/200/205 Deadlift: 300/320/320 Squat felt like shit, the weight cut got me blabla took too much melatonin the night before blabla the rule about the down motion while bracing in the RPS is fucked blablabla. Tldr we’ll have to do better. Bench felt good, a tiny bit below expectations but still good. Deadlift felt great. First attempt flew. Second attempt the bar was legitimately wet because of the spray they were using, asked for a better clean up for the third and got it easily. Definitely had room there. Thank you @urgurlchantelle for all the support, help and love you’ve been providing.
