  2. I’ve been so excited to try the @primeprometics PrimeSkin CC+ Cream because everyone keeps saying how good it is for mature skin, and now I get why. They gifted me a few shades to play with, plus a brush, and I wanted to show you how it applies in real time because it honestly surprised me in the best way. Right away, it feels more like skincare than makeup. It’s a serum‑based CC cream, so it goes on creamy but settles into this soft matte, velvety finish that still looks like skin. It was so interesting and beautiful reading everything our veterans have done for our country. I love the “human first” approach of the museum, and how the soldiers got to tell their stories, especially in the “Last Voices, Second World War”. It was beautifully made, in the most honourable way. I would highly recommend you all to visit this museum.   2. I have some news to share with you all… I have decided to close up the retail shop and move the business back into my home studio. A lot of factors went into this decision, but ultimately it just makes sense at this time. Our online store will remain as usual, as well as supplying all of my fabulous retail partners! So don’t worry- Porch Swing isn’t going anywhere! I want to thank all of you for the amazing support I’ve had at the store, and online as well! I have enjoyed meeting so many customers in person! It has been a great adventure, and maybe one day I will open a brick and mortar again in a more ideal location! I will be offering local deliveries once per week (more details to come). This will be the last week the shop will be open, and then we will start moving and transitioning back. There will be great deals on home decor items. We will be open Thursday and Friday from 10-4. I had not tried this line in about 15 years but picked up a few as they are so affordable to try! 🎀Candied Fantasy: this is my favorite, it gives more of a floral bubble gum and not juicy, fruity pure bubblegum, and not a syrupy edible gourmand sweetness, fairly light and clean, and I do get the cupcake note, low projection becomes a just a soft, feminine, sweet, musk skin scent very quickly. Quite wearable and inoffensive and the full size bottles are available for about $20. I will be keeping this as it is an easy reach to just smell pleasantly sweet. 🌴Jungle Fantasy: this is watery aquatic watermelon candy with a slight clean cucumber soapy floral edge and quickly dries down to a generic sweet fresh clean skin scent, nothing distinctive, very young, body spray scent profile, will be decluttering. 🍑Naked Fantasy: I really get baby powder in the opening maybe a very slight peach floral and then quickly becomes a generic clean sweet light skin scent, reminds me of a woman’s deodorant scent and I do not get vanilla, cupcake or anything really sweet, will be decluttering. 🌅Sunset Fantasy: opens with warm raspberry and peach fruits and then a milk mousse note comes through that I find strange mixed with the fruits, it is not a milkshake, really a milk note and then an amber and sandalwood drydown that I just find a touch spicy. It is warm, creamy and sweet, but too heavy and lactonic for a summer scent personally. 🥭VIP Private Show: very juicy, sweet fruity opening with a mango note that carries through and raspberry, orange and apple, with some light florals in the mid and slight musk and woods in the drydown, I find this really in the style of Escada summer editions, like Taj Sunset and overall gives tropical cocktail mango candy if slightly generic.   3. Current spring beauty favorites in my purse and they are all pink! What products are you loving this season to keep in your bag? Here is what I currently have in my purse and whether I recommend them: -💕Tower 28 JuiceBalm Tinted Lip Balm in Shake: very wearable sheer colour and light hydration, can apply without a mirror or lipliner, easy to use, would recommend -💕LanoLips 101 Ointment in Raspberry Shortcake: great for really dry lips and can multitask as hand treatment, nice sweet cake scent but no taste, a bit expensive for small amount but does repair dry lips/hands, would recommend -💕Biossance Pro Peptide Lip Perfector in Blush Quartz: sheer colour, easy to apply and wear, not sticky, light pleasant scent, decent hydration but nothing special for the price point -💕Melvita Smoothing Hand Cream in Pomegranate: this was a gift from a family member who went to France, it has a noticeable fruity scent, medium lotion texture, absorbed well and decent moisture with shea butter, aloe and vitamin E, would recommend -💕Bath and Body Works PocketBac Hand Sanitizer in Pink Gumball: I love this scent, very photorealistic sweet pink bubblegum, I find it less harsh than some other scents in the line, would recommend (The Tower20 was self-purchased in a FabFitFun box, the LanoLips was self-purchased from Ulta, the Biossance was gifted for review from Bzzzz Agent, the Melvita was a gift from family and the Bath and Body Works was self-purchased from the store)
