Instead of precariously balancing the bottom of your skis on the tiny bit of plastic, put it between your ski and boot - and somehow it balanced there 100x easier!   3. To say I am proud would be an understatement. I just had to step back and let her go. She was leading me and she enjoyed every moment. Coaches and parents out there - the result doesn't matter - at least it isnt where the lessons lie. The way they show up, the way they accept their nerves and learn to manage them. And above all to coach them to enjoy competing! I remember feeling disappointed when I didn't finish where I wanted, or if I skied out. But what always stuck with me and kept me coming back was the joy in executing the race run and being in the gate. Guide your racers towards seeing that competing is an energy that can be exciting and fun. And then watch them soar. I have no idea how far my kids will go in racing, but I know that whatever they learn here will serve them well with wherever they go later on 💪 #competition #skiracing #alpinecanada #u12coach #sunandsnow
