  2. I am still trying to comprehend what happen last night. Let me start by thanking my dance partner @jowitaprzystal. As I said yesterday you are an angel disguised as a human being, a ray of sunshine! Thank you for your trust and guidance throughout this incredible journey. You shone a light for me that got me through some tough weeks and you have been by my side every step of the way. You will go on to do great things in your life. It was my pleasure to be your student. I will forever be greatful for how you have changed my life. Thank you to the Strictly team @bbcstrictly for giving me this opportunity of a lifetime. There are so many wonderful people that work on this incredible show. To the judges, @shirleyballas, @motsimabuse, @mrantondubeke, and @craigrevel thank you for your comments, feedback and tips, your kind words and your criticism. Your expertise and advice was invaluable. Each week, I strived to take it all on board to become a better dancer. I would like to thank the British public. To everyone who voted for us throughout the last 13 weeks, we could not have done it without you. Your support means the world to us. You are simply the best. And finally I would like to thank all of my fellow Strictly 2022 classmates. You are ALL winners! I am thankful to have had the chance to get to know you wonderful people. This is not the end but the beginning of a lifetime of friendships, dinners and celebrations. From the bottom of my heart thank you very much. Pigeon-toed Hamza. Xxx

  3. Imagine being 75 and you’re sat thinking about your life and how you never did anything daring for fear of being judged. You never put on a swimsuit in public and jumped in pools laughing non stop on hot days because there were bits on you that jiggled and lumps that you didn’t like there. Imagine realizing you never laughed until you couldn’t breathe because your teeth weren’t straight or white enough. You never embraced the sun on the beach because of the stretch marks on your stomach and your hips. You never allowed yourself to let go and have fun because the pressure to look perfect consumed you. Imagine being 75 and realizing you’ve hidden yourself away for the fear of being real. Imagine realizing all the years you wasted hating yourself, but now it’s too late to jump in those pools. Now it hurts to laugh for more than a few seconds and you’re too weak to travel to the beach. Imagine realizing all this time you were perfect the way you were, but now it’s too late to do anything about it. Don’t let that happen. Get out there, have fun, laugh, live your best life. Live now, as you are. You deserve to realize you’re enough and always have been, before you’re 75. 😘😘 Caption Credit :- Lauren Daulton ♥️ #hikingadventures #Watkinpath #explorewales #waterfalls #mountainlife #hiking #snowdoniagram #snowdon #thewalescollective #snowdonianationalpark #snowdoniapics #discovercymru #northwales #northwalestagram #exploresnowdonia #myhappyplace #igerscymru #walesadventure #1ukshot #hikinggirl #instadaily #ukhiking #exploredp90 #womenwhohike #girlswhohike #photooftheday #womenwhoexplore #hikinguk #getoutside #instagood

  1. Nine steps by @aledlewisphotography to edit great landscape photographs! "This series shows some of my favorite images, while the third photo stands out. I always wanted a picture of Tryfan when the light was setting at the end of the day. So, after checking the forecast, I quickly packed my camera bag, hopped in my car, and parked nearby in the Ogwen Valley. Seeing the sun going down quite fast, I rushed up the hill along Afon Lloer, opposite Tryfan, and arrived just as the light disappeared from the mountain's peak. Tryfan Mountain, with the fading light, was the main focus of the photo, but the stile gave foreground interest, and the stone wall running to the right gave some balance to the image. Then, in post-production, I tried to enhance the key features, keeping the photo as natural as possible. Editing can be a daunting experience for some, but it can be easy, too! 1) The first step for any photo I edit is adjusting the basics. First, I have always played with the 'Accent' tool, which is magical. 2) Then, I adjust the exposure, highlights, and shadows. 3) In the case of the Tryfan mountain image, I found that the temperature was good. 4) I then went on to darken the sky with a brush, lowering the exposure. 5) I added contrast and black in certain parts to reveal the clouds' details. 6) I added 'Texture' to the wall and stile to make them 'pop' as they were in the foreground. Adjustments to saturation and some supercontrast to bring out the highlights in some areas, and a vignette to finish off. 7) The most vital steps of my editing process are the basic adjustments, as in changes to exposure, highlights, and shadows. And 'Accent', of course. 8) The most important lesson I learned in photo editing was experimenting with the different sliders. After downloading to Luminar, I always shift the sliders I want to use to the extreme to see their effect and adjust accordingly. 9) I also firmly believe in walking away after editing a photo and returning after a few minutes to look at it again. Then, finalize the edit accordingly.” @aledlewisphotography: I hope you found these steps helpful! 📸🎨

  2. Nine steps to edit great landscape images! With @aledlewisphotography / “This series showcases some of my favorite photos and the third one is special. I had always wanted a picture of Tryfan at sunset. After checking the forecast, I quickly packed my camera bag, drove to the Ogwen Valley, and parked nearby. As the sun set rapidly, I hurried up the hill along Afon Lloer, opposite Tryfan, and arrived just as the light faded from the mountain’s peak. Tryfan Mountain, captured in the fading light, was the main focus of the photo, with the stile adding foreground interest and the stone wall on the right providing balance. In post-production, I enhanced the key features while keeping the photo as natural as possible. Although editing can seem daunting to some, it can also be straightforward like this: 1) The first step in my photo editing process is adjusting the basics. I always start with the ‘Accent’ tool in Luminar Neo, which works wonders. 2) Next, I adjust the exposure, highlights, and shadows. 3) For the Tryfan mountain image, the color temperature was perfect. Checking the temperature is crucial in setting the right mood.  4) I then used a brush to darken the sky by lowering the exposure. 5) I added contrast and black to certain areas to recover the details in the clouds.  6) I enhanced the ‘Texture’ of the wall and stile to make them stand out as they are in the foreground. I also adjusted saturation, added supercontrast to highlight certain areas, and finished with a vignette. 7) The most crucial steps in my editing process are the basic adjustments, such as exposure, highlights, and shadows, together with the ‘Accent’ tool. 8) The most important lesson I’ve learned in photo editing is to experiment with different sliders. After importing into Luminar, I always move the sliders to their extremes to see their effect and adjust accordingly. 9) I also believe in taking a break after editing a photo and returning to it after a few minutes for a final review and adjustments.” @nomadict: We hope you enjoyed this fantastic series by @aledlewisphotography!
