  1. 📍Me and my family's go to bak kut teh in Klang. It's a popular bak kut teh spot for locals and visitors. Bak kut teh means 'meat bone tea' in Hokkien and you can taste the essence of the bak kut teh soup here. 📌 𝗦𝗼𝗳𝘁 𝗯𝗼𝗻𝗲 (𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗱𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗯𝗼𝘄𝗹), 𝗥𝗠 𝟭𝟲.𝟱𝟬 More to cartilage cuts. 📌 𝗦𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗼𝗻𝗲 (𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗱𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗯𝗼𝘄𝗹), 𝗥𝗠 𝟭𝟲.𝟱𝟬 More to meat and fat cuts. 📌 𝗕𝗶𝗴 𝗯𝗼𝗻𝗲 (𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗱𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗯𝗼𝘄𝗹), 𝗥𝗠 𝟭𝟲.𝟱𝟬 More to ribs cut. I personally don't order the claypot bkt because it comes with beancurd (fuchuk) which overpowers the taste of the bkt essence already (unless that's your preference) 💬 Klang Bak Kut Teh has a darker, thicker, more aromatic pork bone / fat essence and texture compared to other localities of Bak Kut Teh. Depending on the crowd and time of the day, the soup and meat may have a different taste and texture. You may have to wait if you want certain part of the meat cuts. And if the particular pot has been boiling for some time you will get softer meat textures. 💡Dry bak kut teh is also a hit here 📍Sei Ngan Chai 四眼仔 9, Jalan Kepayang, Kawasan 17, Klang, Selangor ⏰ Tues - Sun, 9.30am - 10pm 💵 Cash only. Card / ewallet not accepted 🅿️ Street parking. 2. 📍Popular Japanese Warabi Mochi chain store from Japan, featuring their best selling warabi mochi and drinks, with main ingredients imported from Japan and made fresh on the spot 🇯🇵 Limited time only pop up store at Lot 10 KL. 📌 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗮 𝗪𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗶 𝗺𝗼𝗰𝗵𝗶, 𝗥𝗠 𝟯𝟬 Matcha was umami with a slight bitter taste (but also slight sweetness and nuttiness). Can really taste the difference with matcha powder imported from Japan. Warabi Mochi texture was translucent, soft jelly-like and chewy. Light and slight sweetness. Very very supple and silky smooth. 📌 𝗞𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗸𝗼 𝗪𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗶 𝗺𝗼𝗰𝗵𝗶, 𝗥𝗠 𝟮𝟱 Coated in roasted soybean powder. Had a earthy nutty flavour. Similar mochi texture as described above 📌 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗮 𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗶 𝗺𝗼𝗰𝗵𝗶 𝗱𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗸, 𝗥𝗠 𝟮𝟬 This was equally as good with the cream being made fresh on the spot. Not too sweet but not too bitter. Mochi inside the drinks (instead of usual boba) really changed the game. 📌 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗹 𝗹𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗶 𝗺𝗼𝗰𝗵𝗶 𝗱𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗸, 𝗥𝗠 𝟮𝟬 Coffee version of the above but the coffee itself was just alright since it isn't a coffee specialty store. *Mix matcha and kinako mochi at half portions each also available for RM 20 if you want to try a bit of both flavours 💬 I've never traveled to Japan before but the taste and texture of the mochi is really different from all that I've tried here (including local and Japanese mochi) as they use premium warabi powder (bracken root starch) instead of the usual glutinous rice powder 💡Pop-up store until 31 March 2024 📍Torori Tenshi No Warabi Mochi とろり天使のわらびもち Level 4, J's gate dining, Lot 10, Jln Sultan Ismail, Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur @torori_warabimochi_malaysia (Opposite mo-mo paradise) ⏰ Mon - Sun, 12pm - 9.30pm 🅿️ Mall parking. 3. 📍New midnight tongshui shop at Damansara Uptown for your post dinner sweet tooth cravings with over 60+ hot and cold modern & traditional desserts to choose from 🍧 📌 𝗕𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝘀𝗲𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗮𝘂𝗳𝘂𝗳𝗮𝗵, 𝗥𝗠 𝟳.𝟵𝟬 Taufufah pretty smooth. Sugar served separately 📌 𝗣𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗴𝘂𝗺 𝘀𝗼𝘆𝗮 (𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗹), 𝗥𝗠 𝟳.𝟵𝟬 Soya is pretty light, not too sweet. Rice ball with sesame filling was soft and supple. 📌 𝗣𝗲𝗮𝗻𝘂𝘁 𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲, 𝗥𝗠 𝟲.𝟵𝟬 (add on sesame rice balls + RM 3) Consistency is a bit watery and not as thick as other shops, a bit sweet, but overall still decent. 📌 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗻 𝗽𝗼𝗽𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗻, 𝗥𝗠 𝟴.𝟵𝟬 Not too bad. Hot & crispy with slight spice & chili powder, like Taiwanese style fried chicken 💬 Huge variety of tongshui (desserts) for you to choose from and you can customise your toppings or add ons. Taste wise is pretty decent. 💡Get a free taufufah taro bowl when you leave them a Google review ⭐. (Probably why there are so many 5 ⭐ Google review lol). 📍Sik Thong Ba 66, SS 21/39, Damansara Utama (Uptown), Petaling Jaya, Selangor @sikthongba_ *Another 2 outlets at Cheras ⏰ Mon - Sun, 12pm - 12am (Last call 11.30pm) 🅿️ Street parking.
