If your from North Belfast then you know the excitement of us finally having a little hipster brunch spot lol! @generalmerchants is newly opened here, I actually stood in line to get in (unheard of) the queue went down in under ten minutes or so! 😍 The food was standard general merchants quality 10/10. Loved the cafe decor etc we sat inside they had a gorgeous glass seated area outside however they would need to install more heaters out there for me to be happy to sit in it lol! We got waffles to share these were the highlight for both of us We got a breakfast bap and a burger all of which was amazing ✨ Defo go support & if your in the market for opening more cool brunch spots please put them in north belfast lol 📍

  2. Controversial but the Spring market is better than the Christmas market📍 There is just something about the sunshine that makes standing in line for food a whole lot easier lol!! We went for the pepper chicken which was alright, no queue so that was a plus! Then the Lebanese food stall which was absolutely the highlight, the photo doesn’t do it justice absolutely loaded with fresh veg, hummus, pickles, garlic sauce, chilli sauce …unreal! I had to watch Tony in envy drink his mojito & then we got sweet treats but I didn’t snap any of those 🤩 Finishing off in the beer garden which was roasting I was loving it 😍

Big thank you to @cocacolagbi for inviting us to the #bringmagictothetable event at @flame_belfast Flame has just opened their new location in Bedford Square, they’ve really nailed the decor and vibe it was beautiful. We were treated to a three course meal & Coke Zero cocktails (& mocktails) Tony was in his element triple parked at one stage lol! Is there anything nicer than coke from a bottle? Side note; learned some major tips from @belfastblondefoodie on how to take cracken food pictures watch this space my pictures are going to have a glow up lol

  3. see when I say @madeinantrim korean chicken might be the nicest thing I’ve tried this year... honestlyyyy 🤤🤤 I’m late to the party but couldn’t face the prospect of the queue. Today I figured I’d nothing better to do and decided to venture down. I queued for the guys of 1 hour 45 but I PROMISE you, it was worth it. Korean chicken bao buns with Asian slaw, spring onions, roasted peppers, onions & chipotle mayo. Asian fries - salted chilli chicken, asian slaw, spring onions, fresh chilli, chips & curry mayo. the chicken was so tender and so tasty. i will defo be back. PSA: bring extra napkins 🤭🌶

  3. OK ok, so I know I need to brush up on my presentation skills, but look at that colour ❤️. My first red velvet cake for @lar_77 'a birthday. First in a long time that we've been in the country and not doing anything particularly special, so I had to make it up somehow! Used @janespatisserie 's recipe, as American recipes using cream cheese can sometimes be a little runny given that they can get cream cheese in solid blocks, Janes recipe and quantities perfectly counter this issue!
