  1. NO BACKGROUND MUSIC Rutin sebenar akhirnya bermula. Mommy dah mula rekod dapur berasap balik, hehehe. Alhamdulillah bila dah ada free time baru boleh fokus untuk masak. Menu kali ini simple saja tapi tetap jadi favourite. Sambal Udang, ikan goreng dan tumis sayur. Mommy masak agak lewat juga sebab tunggu adik balik sekolah baru mula masuk dapur. Yelaa kerja rumah semalam masih belum siap jadi sambung la kemas dulu sebelum masak. Masa masak tu adik duduk sebelah sambil bercerita tanpa henti. Mommy kena betul-betul multitask. Satu tangan kacau sambal, satu mata tengok ikan, satu telinga fokus pada cerita dia. Kalau tidak confirm keluar ayat wajib dia, “Mommy mommy dengar tak adik cakap.” Haa sabar sajalah Mommy. Lepas siap masak terus setup meja, kemas dapur, cuci pinggan, lap dan sapu semua sekali. Timing pun ngam bila kakak dan papa balik sebab boleh makan sama-sama. Menu favourite mereka jadi senyum lebar lah semua orang. Simple lunch tapi penuh dengan moment kecil yang buat hati Mommy rasa tenang. ❤️mommyAH

  2. Hari ni menu lunch mommy lain sikit daripada biasa. Masak awal-awal pagi sebab tahu lepas tu banyak lagi kerja menunggu. So pagi-pagi dalam pukul 10/11am tu memang dah start berkecah kat dapur. Menu kita kali ni: Ikan celup tepung rangup, sotong celup tepung, ayam goreng yang dimasukkan dalam kuah masak lemak, dan sayur campur untuk seimbangkan rasa. Memang puas hati tengok warna-warni lauk atas meja! The best part is sebelum jam 7 pagi, rumah dah settle. Mop, sapu, kemas semua siap awal, memang sejenis bangun awal supaya bila sampai waktu tengah hari, takde dah fikir pasal rumah or masak. Just enjoy lunch with family, and lepas tu boleh rehat sekejap sebelum sambung kerja Takaful. Kadang-kadang penat tu ada… tapi bila tengok anak-anak makan berselera, that’s the kind of reward yang buat mommy kuat setiap hari. pssst… periuk masak lemak tu link ada dekat bio atau boleh pergi ke story ada saya share. ❤️mommyAH

  3. Minggu ni dan minggu lepas memang super hectic penuh dengan kelas, kerja Takaful, review produk. Tapi masak tetap on, macam biasa. Ada hari sempat record, ada hari terus masak je sebab nak cepat. Hari ni cuaca nyaman, redup je… mood pun tenang. Asalnya plan nak masak menu lain, tapi pagi tadi nampak terung dekat dapur terus tukar plan on the spot. So hari ni kita masak simple-simple je tapi semua suka terung cili padi favourite papa, sotong sambal untuk anak-anak, ikan goreng panas-panas, makan pula dengan nasi putih berwap… MasyaAllah, nikmat! Anak-anak memang suka sambal, tapi mommy tak nak bagi terlalu pedas. So mommy blend cili merah campur cili tak pedas. Nampak macam menyala, tapi sebenarnya mild je elok sangat, seronok tengok anak makan sambil senyum dan borak. Alhamdulillah, lepas siap masak terus ajak semua makan. Duduk makan sama-sama sebelum sambung aktiviti harian masing-masing. Simple moments like this I feel so grateful. Dapat masak untuk keluarga, dapat makan sama-sama… that’s happiness for me. ❤️mommyAH

My friend and I enjoyed this 📌 𝗧𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘆𝗼 𝗱𝗼𝗴, 𝗥𝗠 𝟮𝟮 Teriyaki mayo, caramelised onions, with a generous topping of furikake flakes. Okay but personally not a fan of this combo 📌 𝗘𝗻𝗼𝗸𝗶 𝗰𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗲𝘀, 𝗥𝗠 𝟭𝟲 Crunchy deep fried enoki. Loved the sauce dip but the enoki was too heavily salted. Wished the portion was slightly more too. I think I like their fries more 💬 Curated selection of imported craft beer from across the globe with house made hotdogs and snacks. Sausages are juicy with a bite, and you can choose between chicken or beef. Buns are soft and crunchy, but wish they had more of a buttered taste. Hotdog portions are okay but definitely not a full meal. Order some sides to go with.   2. 📍Open till midnight Japanese noodle bar tucked in SS2 for when you're craving for warm simple Japanese bowls 🍜 Newly opened and run by a couple duo that wanted to bring back the familiar and simple taste of noodles during their time in Japan 📌 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗶𝘂𝗺 𝗧𝗞𝗚, 𝗥𝗠 𝟭𝟴.𝟵𝟬 A comforting bowl of raw egg and hot rice with Chashu, Shio-kombu, green and white scallions. Portion is on the smaller side so you may need to pair it with a side dish 📌 𝗔𝗯𝘂𝗿𝗮 𝗦𝗼𝗯𝗮, 𝗥𝗠 𝟮𝟲.𝟵𝟬 Broth-less ramen, savory sauce, pork, bamboo shoots, seaweed. I liked the al dente noodle texture but still had a soft bounce to it, rich shoyu sauce base so it can get a bit salty but I usually prefer saltier flavours so it was fine by me. Chashu was a bit dry and could be more tender, egg was a bit overcooked for me as I prefer mine runny. 📌 𝗡𝗶𝗸𝘂𝗷𝘆𝗮𝗴𝗮, 𝗥𝗠 𝟭𝟴.𝟵𝟬 Potatoes, carrots, onions, and meat stewed in a sweetened soy sauce broth. Quite decent but since it was a soy sauce based dish, having this with the soba got too salty. Would suggest to order another side if you intend to order the Soba as your main 📌 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗮 𝗽𝘂𝗱𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗥𝗠 𝟭𝟮.𝟵𝟬 Smooth texture, not too sweet, underlying matcha taste, quite well done 💬 Love the quiet cozy space and the fact that they're open till midnight so it was perfect for a lighter yet filling late dinner.   3. 📍New TTDI neighbourhood gem that I only stumbled upon while getting groceries because they were so tucked inside this quiet plaza. Simple menu with reasonable prices and quality food 🥩 📌 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝗽 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗥𝗠 𝟭𝟰 Hearty and comforting bowl of pumpkin soup with a side of bread for dips 📌 𝗡𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗼𝘀 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗽𝘀, 𝗥𝗠 𝟭𝟴 Pretty basic and simple.
