  3. Meal comped by @rainierrestaurant The first time I visited Rainier Restaurant many years ago, I was blown away by my experience, with the catfish and the beef ong choy salad being my favorites. My last few visits weren’t bad but they weren’t as good as the first, so I was so excited when I heard that Rainier Restaurant is now under new ownership!🤩 Ownership has changed a few times, and what I’m excited about is that the current owners are working with the original owners to bring back the recipes we knew and loved 🙏 The catfish ($20 per pound) is cooked perfectly with skin so crispy, I almost forgot I was eating fish 😂 It seriously looked like lechon skin to me! The ongchoy salad is one of the best salads I’ve ever had, and always a must for me!   3. ✨RECIPE✨ When I’m craving sushi at home but don’t want the extra effort, I love making a seared salmon bowl with a side of seaweed snacks so I can make little handrolls! 😋 No recipe necessary really - it’s super easy! Just season cooked Japanese sushi rice with a little rice vinegar and pinches of salt and sugar, place the sushi grade salmon on top (I get mine from either H Mart or Uwajimaya) and top with @kewpieusa mayo, eel sauce and sriracha, then torch it (my mini torch I got from Amazon - linked in my bio in my Amazon favorites)!   2. 👋🏻 I have been tragically locked out of this account but we back baby! ✨And of course back with Mexican food & a view. 📍 Grab Malena’s Taco Shop in upper Queen Anne and take it to one of the most underrated view points in all of Seattle at 5th & Lynn st. 🌃 🌮 I have to say, their fried shrimp tacos are good, but my boyfriend got their chili relleno burrito 🌯🌯 (which I wish I got a photo of) and that was AMAZING and I’m pretty sure I ate 90% of it 😂 so if you go, i’d def recommend that! We escaped to Suncadia for NYE and it was the most perfect winter wonderland! ❄️ We stayed at the @swiftwater_residences — a collection of new town homes (4 bedrooms) walkable from @swiftwatercellars_suncadia, a shared clubhouse with heated pool & hot tub, and right in the heart of Suncadia. If you haven’t visited yet, go go go! The whole weekend, I was so amazed at this gorgeous view— we even got to go sledding on the rope rider golf course right outside our home. Big life update…I QUIT MY JOB!!!🎉🍾🤯 After six and a half years of working my 9-5 job as an attorney, I have finally decided to say goodbye to the corporate world and helloooo to following my dreams and pursuing my passions full time. ✨ Life is way too short to continue doing something that doesn’t light me up and set my soul on fire. It may sound cheesy, but after the year I’ve had, it’s exactly how I feel. I still can’t believe it’s real! I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t a little bit terrified, but I am also feeling happy, relieved, exhilarated, and so damn proud of myself for taking this leap!!!   2. One of my favorite spots in Mexico City 🌟 Always warm and fresh churros the tiles and backsplash are so pretty. It’s all around a great place to stop and eat or if you are in a rush take them to go. Should I mention they sell bomb tacos 🌮 just outside next door to them, it’s also owned by the same owner so you get savory and sweet in one trip. It’s taco Tuesday so I’m agreeing with everyone else in saying this is one of the BEST spots to get a $3 al pastor tacos in Seattle!! 😋 The al pastor slowly turns so that you are guaranteed the freshest meat for your tacos. They have lots of meat options - chorizo, asada, cabeza, pollo, lengua, and more! 🤩 They also have $10 quesadillas which are HUGE, and $11 burritos (also giant). 🌯 I went to the Rainier location AND the renton location, but the line was MUCH shorter at Rainier (waited an hour at Rainier). Was it still worth the wait?   2. The one coffee shop that's worth the drive from wherever you are: Aroma Coffee Co. in Fall City. It has the first @nelsontreehouse public treehouse. And it's a delight for the kids to play. No kids? The café alone is pretty charming. The house where it's located is a King County landmark. There's plenty of patio seating, their drink menu is big and their food is good.   3. Gorgeous food in a gorgeous space. I knew the wagyu would be good when I saw that marbling, but, wow, it exceeded my expectations. Go to Itadaki Yakiniku in Bellevue whenever you're craving Japanese BBQ. It's great for a date night. I got to check out their new location last weekend and this location is much bigger then the Seattle one! I stand by this and stay that Kobuta & Ookami is the best katsu in Seattle.
