  3. Whenever I go out to eat or travel I enjoy trying new flavors. It keeps things interesting. That’s probably why @thrillshnl has become one of our go-to spots for ice cream. Where to find these cheesy garlic balls 😋 @bigkahunaspizza has been on my “must try” list since high school, but I only made it out now partially due to how far I live from them 🥲 They’re located in the shopping center right next to Hawaiian Airlines HQ and a good spot to grab a pizza if you’re looking for unique topping pizza’s. They have your original cheese & pepperoni but also have pizza combos ranging from the “kanaka” with kalua pork and chicken pesto pizza. I highly suggest doing half n half if you can’t decide on one 🤭 Don’t forget to pair your pizza with their popular cheesy garlic balls!!   3. 💜“UBE-tter believe it…”🍳 I’ve been wanting to try Button Up Café in Pearl City for years and finally made it over a couple weekends ago 🙌 It’s a cozy spot (more takeout style), so heads up—you might have to wait for dine-in! We waited about 30 minutes for our party of 6. They’re known for their braised short rib dishes, and our group got them every way possible:

🍛 Plate Lunch But I went with the Bacon & Mushroom Omelet (the bacon was thicc!!) The real star however was the Stuffed Ube Cheesecake French Toast – loaded with creamy ube filling and even better with a scoop of ube ice cream on the side. At @izakayauosan and I have many regrets. 😂 Of course I still had a small bit of everything, and it was so good I wanted to eat more, but I. just. couldn’t. 🥲 So do not be like me and go have a really great meal there. If you’re into it, try the grilled dried squid with a cold beer. Definitely get the rice dish to share (it’s rich!), and sashimi while you’re at it. The crab croquette is a surprising one—I loved how warm and how truly creamy and rich it was. When I saw the post about @HanaQuon’s February Pastry Box Pop-Up, it was fate that I was able to snag one because 1) anyone who’s had it before definitely wanted another and 2) anyone who saw the post would not be able to resist. 😭 I got one of the last ones and wow, no regrets at all. The flavors she used in this box had my name all over it: hojicha(!!), dark chocolate, kona coffee, apple banana.. And nothing—NOTHING disappointed.
