Truffle Chicago is located in Pilsen and they have all of the best sellers from their takeout only location all in this sit down restaurant. The restaurant is BYOB and the kitchen is open late closing at 2am. Wilma’s is a family owned restaurant that started in Dolton, IL and has recently added their second location to downtown Chicago area. This location has a bar, with drinks that will make forget you had a tough week. On Tuesdays, Wilma’s hosts a karaoke night. The drinks were flowing, the food was good and karaoke was so much fun. I highly suggest checking this place out.   1. A whole mood. Before I could get to the point of winning my episode of @cookedwithcannabisnetflix on @netflix I had to take some Ls. I had a lot of emotions in this picture because I remembered them all and what it felt like to lose on a big stage. 2 years prior I lost to @chefmikemoya, who is my friend to this day, at the @hightimesmagazine top cannabis chef SoCal championship round 2017. The L stuck with me and I vowed to never change my methods nor my focus at putting my best on the line every time. Supremely Grateful for every opportunity and chance to improve and push forward. I will be one of the first Latino cannabis operators in Illinois with products that I’ve been developing for several years from California to New York and between. G. 🤤 The food was insane- don't skip on the grilled clams with smoked ramp butter (!!), straciatella with strawberries, crni risotto, and tagliatelle with duck sausage. The service was outstanding (ask for Kyle!), the vibes were perfect, and the cocktails were delish. Resos are hard to come by so if you see one, SNAG IT! (and invite me along please and thanks ☺️)

  1. how it’s going, vs how it's started i want to open up to ya'll about something today! when i was in college, i wanted to be a creator but had no idea how. i didn't know how to style a shoot, didn't know how to choose a niche, and didn't know how to impact an audience. beyond my lack of knowledge, i was dating someone who didn't believe social media could be a real job and i had no support system backing up my goals. he thought social media was superficial and a waste of time. it was hard to find confidence while being with someone who didn't believe in me. i ended up giving up on my dreams of being a creator/social media manager and putting my focus elsewhere. fast forward a couple of years. i met sean my senior year of college. it was surreal being with someone who genuinely wanted to know what my passions were, and wanted to help me turn my passions into a full-time gig. he learned with me. he grew with me. he pushed me. four years later, i have a successful side hustle as a blogger and a full time job as a social media manager for a restaurant group. moral of the story - don't let anyone tell you that your dreams are not tangible, or that your dreams are stupid. those negative energies will do nothing but bring you down and keep you from reaching your full potential. xoxo #bloggingadvice #influencertips #influencermarketing #socialmediamanager #socialmediatips #socialmediamanagers #socialmediamanagement #sidehustletips #chicagocreatives #chicagoblogger #bloggersofinstagram
