  3. After 25 unforgettable years at CBS Miami, today was my last work day with the station.   3. Ikigai did it for us! 🍣 We finally found a spot in Miami that truly transports you straight to Japan. Tucked away in a gorgeous, intimate setting on Brickell Key, this hidden gem is doing everything right. They fly in premium fish, grate real fresh wasabi right in front of you, and serve an Unagi Don that stays completely true to the traditional Kyoto recipe. We were absolutely blown away by the unmatched quality. We originally discovered them through Miami Spice, which is such a great way to find spots you might otherwise miss. The Miami Spice dinner menu features incredible options like the Wagyu A5 Nigiri, but we were so impressed we went off-menu and added the Unagi Don too! (Pro tip: they actually offer the Unagi Don Buri on their Miami Spice lunch menu). The food was so flawless that Misha literally got up to thank the chef. 🥺 🚘 Heads up on parking: There’s basically one main parking garage on the key and it ran us about $27, but definitely check with the host because the restaurant offers a 2-hour free garage parking validation on-site!
