Easy and delicious oxtail 🥰 Thanks for the inspo @treathefoodie 🩷 everything was delicious! ⸻ Ingredients:     •    Oxtail     •    Badia Sazon Tropical Marinade     •    Slap Ya Mama seasoning     •    Very Noicee All Purpose seasoning @verynoiceeseasoning     •    Garlic paste     •    Ginger paste     •    Jerk marinade     •    Garlic powder     •    Onion powder     •    Browning     •    Ghee     •    3 Maggi beef bouillon cubes     •    Water     •    Honey Instructions:     1.    Marinate oxtail in Badia Sazon Tropical overnight.     2.    Next day, rinse the oxtail and season with Slap Ya Mama, Very Noicee, garlic + ginger paste, jerk marinade, garlic powder, onion powder, and a splash of browning. Rest 30 min.     3.    Heat ghee in a pan, brown oxtail on all sides. Save the drippings.     4.    Pressure cook with 3 Maggi beef cubes + water for ~1.5 hrs until tender.     5.    Move oxtail back into the pan with drippings, add in some of the broth from the pressure cooker, and simmer to thicken. Add a little honey for balance if desired.     6.    Serve hot with your fave sides. Enjoy!

  2. The past month has been something out of a movie. Get ready🍿In a nutshell, 25 years ago when I was 10, my mom sat me down and told me about my bio father Wayne. It wasn’t a happy split and she had no photos, they lost contact, she said I probably have siblings as well. I wondered about him and my mystery siblings for decades. When I was 20 a friend bought me an @ancestry kit. I would get so close then nothing. Years go by, then combined with @23andme I had 2 resources to find him and my siblings. Well a lot happened in between, but last summer I found cousins and my uncle who then connected me to my biological father. For decades I dreamt about what he looks like, do I look like him? Do I have more brothers? Do I finally have sisters I can be girly with?! What if he’s mean, what if he’s dead, what if he denies me? What I wasn’t prepared for was all the love and explosion of emotions! Then…I found out I have not one but two sisters!! They didn’t know about me, I was then nervous again they wouldn’t want me around. Well, it was the opposite. I have been a bit MIA because I have been back and forth to Houston meeting them all and spending the most beautiful time getting to know them. I prayed for this for so long and it was God’s timing that we meet. I am grateful beyond words. I love my Dad Gary who I’ve known as such since I was 10, he has loved me endlessly, supported my search and understood that empty hole in my heart. Now I have two dads. Both so different but love me as their daughter. Family is everything. All versions of it. The good, the bad, the ugly, the lovely.
