Freshly baked Puerquitos Pan Dulce just like abuelita used to make 🐖✨ Here’s the recipe to fill your home with that cozy aroma of cinnamon and brown sugar: Ingredients: 1 cup brown sugar ½ stick of butter 3 cups of flour 1 tsp baking powder 1 tsp cinnamon 2 eggs (set one aside) 2 tsp vanilla ½ cup molasses ⅓ cup milk Combine all ingredients in a bowl, knead until smooth, then wrap in plastic wrap and place in fridge for one hour. Remove from fridge then roll out with some flour, using puerquito cutter and place on a cookie sheet tray Extra step for that golden finish: Set aside one extra egg. Once your puerquitos are shaped and on the sheet tray, whisk the egg and lightly brush it over the tops before baking. But in the age of new viral instagrams sometimes truly neighborhood small business shops that absoluty are gems get overseen by the new glitz and glamour in town. We think the college area can often be overlooked and there are many cute local gems in the area (honestly like us). And so we’re here to say we’re a damn gem whether we’re on a viral video or not and you should come check us out! We roast all of our beans, have an awesome plant based food menu and special coffee and tea menu unlike many spots and are truly a “mom and pop or mom and mom” style shop.   3. Hi!!!! So we’ve acquired some extra outdoor space on our retail property. We’ve wanted this space for awhile. And we have access! It’s been a dumping ground and was locked up but now we have the keys and we have a dream to make it a very cute outdoor multi mix space for private events, extra outdoor seating, intimate open mic nites, mocktail bar, meetings -yoga and more!!! We have never asked for $ money or raised $ and we’re not still, but We’re asking for items you may have laying around not in use or don’t want anymore. It is time for spring cleaning! We’d love to have a cute repurposed area that’s beautiful for the community!! Our current needs/wants for this space is: -white paint (or any color you might have) -fence covering to fence off the dumpster fence -spray foam to hole up areas -extra plywood or wood to reinforce parts of the fence -outdoor plants, planters-any (looking for passion fruit too to vine the fence and bamboo) -outdoor chairs or outdoor furniture -outdoor string lights If you have anything you need to get rid of please DM US to arrange and we can also exchange a free drink or something too!   2. We had the privilege of being part of an exclusive group invited to The Enchanted Oasis at @insideoutsd . It was a magical evening filled with exquisite food and enchanting decor. Chef Johnny Duran’s @sandyslippahs808 new seasonal menu was a culinary masterpiece. Each dish, from the grilled prawns to the succulent lamb chops, was a burst of flavor and artful presentation. Not to mention the incredible dessert, my absolute favorite by Sous Chef @chefrtrinidad The Enchanted Oasis decor added to the enchantment, with fairy lights and lush greenery creating a fairy-tale atmosphere. Using a cookie dough scoop tightly form into desired nugget shapes. 3. Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat.   2. What going to In-N-Out for lunch with Hayden looks like. Plain grilled cheese and fries for him. Animal Fries with chilies, Flying Dutchman with whole onions grilled and Diet Coke for me.
