Freshly baked Puerquitos Pan Dulce just like abuelita used to make 🐖✨ Here’s the recipe to fill your home with that cozy aroma of cinnamon and brown sugar: Ingredients: 1 cup brown sugar ½ stick of butter 3 cups of flour 1 tsp baking powder 1 tsp cinnamon 2 eggs (set one aside) 2 tsp vanilla ½ cup molasses ⅓ cup milk Combine all ingredients in a bowl, knead until smooth, then wrap in plastic wrap and place in fridge for one hour. Remove from fridge then roll out with some flour, using puerquito cutter and place on a cookie sheet tray Extra step for that golden finish: Set aside one extra egg. Once your puerquitos are shaped and on the sheet tray, whisk the egg and lightly brush it over the tops before baking. The secret? Soaking the rice in hot water before cooking makes it perfectly fluffy every time. You’ll need: 🍅 2–3 tomatoes 🧅 ½ onion (split: finely chop half of it for the sauté, and save a small piece to blend in the sauce) 🧄 5–6 garlic cloves (2 set aside for sautéing, the rest for the sauce) 🥄 @cookwithknorr tomato bouillon + salt to taste 🍚 2.5 cups long-grain rice (never jasmine, abuelita says it’ll dry out 😉) 🥑 Oil of choice 🌽 Corn (optional) 💧 4 cups water (2:1 ratio water to rice) Steps: 1️⃣ Soak rice in hot water for 15 min, then rinse. 2️⃣ Blend 3 tomatoes, a small piece of onion, 3 garlic cloves, 1 spoonful of Knorr, + 2 cups water until smooth. 3️⃣ Brown rice in oil until light golden. Add the finely chopped onion + 2 garlic cloves and sauté. 4️⃣ Add 1 cup of the sauce first to lock in flavor, then pour in the rest of the sauce + 2 more cups water. 5️⃣ Stir in corn (if using), cover, and cook on low for ~15 min. Check periodically. Add salt to taste. 48 Hours in Boston: Food, Drinks, & things to do! Follow @mish_critiques for weekly travel recs💁🏾‍♀️ I did a solo trip to Boston in July 2025 and I had so much fun! Here’s what a did in my 48 hours there. ⬇️⬇️⬇️ 🥂 @the_landing_bar Long Wharf :low key but seems like a younger crowd. I had a glass of @kimcrawfordwine Sauv and enjoyed the boats passing by. 🍴 @joeswaterfront : I sipped a strong Select Spritz while enjoying views of the wharf. P.S. The artichoke dip plate is HOT… I burned my wrist 😅 🍹 @apexbarlounge Rooftop : Lovely sunset view- BTW the lower level sells 🌱 and the upper level is the rooftop. My drink was okay. 🤫 @offsuitboston Speakeasy : Fun cocktails & light bites. I can’t tell you where it is…that would be too easy 😉 ☕️ @tradesmanboston : This is a spacious coffee shop. The coffee was was yummy and you HAVE to try the filled croissants 😋 They offer food and grab-n-go items. 🚃 @oldtowntrolley tours: (fun/informative Hop-on Hop-Off Bus that takes you all over town). There are 3 different routes that you can choose from. I learned SO MUCH. It’s also a great way to see a majority of the city in a short time. 🍻 @cheersboston : “Where everybody knows your name…”. I HAD to visit for the nostalgia! There are 2 floors, plenty of space for larger groups, a merch shop and affordable pints of beer🙌🏾 🚶🏾‍♀️Black Heritage Trail : Brought to you by the National Parks Service. They offer guided tours and self-guided tours. Located in Beacon Hill. It’s accessible via the Hop-on/Hop-off bus (get off at the Cheers bar stop). 🍝 @isabella_ristorante_boston : This place is tiny and gets packed fast. Be sure to book a reservation through @opentable . ALSO, the spicy arrabiatta is SPICY🔥(for my fuego fans) 🍺 @bellinhand tavern: America’s oldest, continuously operating, tavern since 1795! I’m pretty sure Sam Adams use to turn up here. 🤔 It’s a chill, divey spot. 🍷 @haleyhenrybar : they have a wonderful wine list with a lot of variety! They are owned by the same guys who brought us Tahini (of Triple D fame) from next door! Newly opened in Clairemont, @finjanco makes Turkish coffee using the traditional method of brewing in a hot sand pit. Super crunchy and delicious hot chicken with awesome options like Chicken & French Toast along with Chicken & Waffles. The next time I will be trying out their chicken sandwich made with French Toast 🤯. I was also pleased to see they had some great draft beer options that were great to deal with the heat of their sandwiches. 10/10 would recommend! And this delicious torta with Cacique Ranchero Queso Fresco will brighten your day. #ad #NorthgateMarket #EveryVisitHasAStory #imfrecipes #Cacique #tortadequeso #tortadelonche #latinainthekitchen #backtoschoolrecipes Ingredients 2 bolillos or teleras, cut in half lengthwise 1 package Cacique Ranchero Queso Fresco, cut into slices 1 tomato, sliced 1/2 red onion, sliced 4 romaine lettuce leaves Avocado oil Unsalted butter, room temperature 1/2 cup mayo 1 tablespoon yellow mustard 1 tablespoon pickling jalapeño juice 3 tablespoons chipotle adobo sauce Kosher salt Pickled jalapeños and carrots Avocado slices, optional Directions In a small bowl combine mayo, mustard, jalapeño juice and chipotle. Mix and season with salt to taste. Set aside. Cut a package of Cacique Ranchero Queso Fresco into slices. Spray a cast iron skillet on medium high heat with avocado oil. Once skillet is hot add slices of queso fresco. Flip when queso has become crispy. And continue to cook until both sides of cheese slices are crispy. Cut two bolillos or teleras in half and remove any excess bread from one side. Spread with butter and heat bread. Once bread is heated and roasted spread with chipotle mayo. To assemble torta, add grilled cheese slices, tomato, onion, lettuce, pickled jalapeños and carrots. Cut in half and enjoy!

Hi!!!! So we’ve acquired some extra outdoor space on our retail property. We’ve wanted this space for awhile. And we have access! It’s been a dumping ground and was locked up but now we have the keys and we have a dream to make it a very cute outdoor multi mix space for private events, extra outdoor seating, intimate open mic nites, mocktail bar, meetings -yoga and more!!! We have never asked for $ money or raised $ and we’re not still, but We’re asking for items you may have laying around not in use or don’t want anymore. It is time for spring cleaning! We’d love to have a cute repurposed area that’s beautiful for the community!! Our current needs/wants for this space is: -white paint (or any color you might have) -fence covering to fence off the dumpster fence -spray foam to hole up areas -extra plywood or wood to reinforce parts of the fence -outdoor plants, planters-any (looking for passion fruit too to vine the fence and bamboo) -outdoor chairs or outdoor furniture -outdoor string lights If you have anything you need to get rid of please DM US to arrange and we can also exchange a free drink or something too! We had the privilege of being part of an exclusive group invited to The Enchanted Oasis at @insideoutsd . It was a magical evening filled with exquisite food and enchanting decor. Drop me a smiley face in the comments if you're gonna make these! 4 INGREDIENT CHEESY QUINOA NUGGETS Yield: About 20 Nuggets Ingredients: • 1 cup dry quinoa, thoroughly rinsed • 1/2 cup nutritional yeast • 4 green onions, white + green part, finely minced • 1 + 1/2 teaspoons salt • 1-2 tablespoons high heat oil (I like refined coconut oil) Directions: 1. Cook quinoa according to package directions. 2. Combine hot cooked quinoa with nutritional yeast, green onions, and salt. Salt to taste. Using a cookie dough scoop tightly form into desired nugget shapes. 3. Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat. What going to In-N-Out for lunch with Hayden looks like. Plain grilled cheese and fries for him. Animal Fries with chilies, Flying Dutchman with whole onions grilled and Diet Coke for me.
