Yesterday was one of those days when everything goes perfect😀 @susil_at_leisure comes down home for the long weekend and a visit to @ankita_stardustglitters school for the parent teacher meeting post breakfast doesn’t allow for lunch preparation at home. So the plan is to have lunch at @desiiibysmrutisree Smrutishree is our finalist from Masterchef, Season 6 and it was a long wish to enjoy food at her own restaurant in Bhubaneswar. The food was typically Odia, explaining the name “Desii” and the aesthetics was love. A small cosy seating arrangement with a decent number of guests was all that I wished. To add to it, the music was my favourite(I guess every Odia’s favourite) Khoka Bhai’s songs. The pictures don’t justify the foods. They were authentically Odia with the mild flavour of garlic and mustard oil in the temper. My personal favourite became the “kakharu phula stuffed with chingudi” and the “chingudi checha” In fact everything was perfect and since we don’t like too much spicy or oily it appealed to our tastebuds. The price was also reasonable 👍 What I liked most was the way Smruti attended every guest, added her magic touch to the dishes and even helped her courteous staff at serving.
