  1. I’ve never felt like I’ve looked like the pretty girl. Not to say that I’ve always thought I was ugly, but I’ve always thought I looked odd. My un- even jaw, my dark under eyes and bags that look like I’ve been succer punched some days, my small asf lips, my left eye being significantly smaller than my right and my round face and my EXTREMELY flat side profile. All of which, a lot of people don’t take note of but I have. Last year it got to the point where I limited how often I’d go out because I didn’t feel comfortable with my face, and putting on makeup would only make me cry because it meant I had to look at myself for longer than I would have liked to. I’d look down at the ground if I was anywhere else other than home. And if possible I’d avoid eye contact with anyone. Some of this still applies today, and I’m still working on that, but after taking these photos, when I was looking at them it was the first time in I have no clue how long that I’ve sat and thought “oh they look kind’ve pretty”. And that made my heart happy. So with that long story - here’s some pictures of my face. Enjoy 😌

  3. Taking my own advice and not feeling guilty for my confidence. Embrace that whole “people will judge you no matter what so you may as well do what you wanna do” kind of thing. A bit of ✨fuck it✨ energy, if you will
