  3. his reaction at the end 😭😭😭 ngl… halfway through this surprise I thought I’d taken it toooo far 🥵 (p.s. safe to say stress levels were HIGH and I won’t be doing any more surprises because that was low key one of the most stressful things I’ve ever done 🫠🙃😂) For anyone new here, the past couple of months have looked a little unconventional. After renovating our home in London, I moved to Bali while Tom moved to Dubai and honestly… it’s been such an incredible season for both of us individually. I really believe time apart can be such a healthy thing. Building confidence, independence and your own life outside of a relationship is important too.   1. Last night we said a tragically abrupt and cruelly premature goodbye to our beautiful 3 year old tabby cat, Tilly. She was hit by a car on the minor road in front of our house - it seems the impact killed her outright (although the heartless asshole of a driver didn’t stop to find out and left her in the road). Fortunately we are lucky enough to have incredibly kind and caring friends and neighbours who spotted her and scooped her up (thank you Tori 🥰) out of the road and alerted us straight away. I still can’t quite believe she’s gone, literally minutes earlier she’d been sat on a chair next to me on the patio while I read my book. She was the most delightful quirky and loving little cat, tough as boots, fiercely independent, had the loudest most piercing miaow, was a voracious hunter, and was always up for being brushed or coming in for a head rub. If you’ve followed me for a while you will know that we adopted Tilly and her ginger 🐈 sibling, Pickle about 2 and a half years ago. Pickle disappeared last august and despite months of searching, posters and lost cat facebook posts, he never returned. Tilly had never been without him and became very stressed and lonely. She wouldn’t come in the house and stopped interacting with us. Enter Tigger, the tiny bionic bundle of ginger rescue kitten fluff who we adopted to keep her company, within weeks of Pickle’s disappearance. She hated him 😂😂hissed like a snake and wouldn’t go near him. Months of patience and gradual introductions paid off and they eventually became mates. Big ‘step sister’ and her annoying little ‘step bro’. He’s currently asleep on the sofa but keeps going out into the garden to look for her, as do I. She leaves a big Tilly shaped space in our lives and will be greatly missed by us all (with the exception of the local rodent 🐭 population who are probably breathing a collective sigh of relief). My phone is full of photos and videos of her so it was tough to pick just 20, but here are some of her ‘best bits’. R.I.P. Tilly cat 🐈‍⬛ You were loved 💔

POV: you don’t post for over a week and then pretty much write a memoir 🤪 After a little flurry of new followers last week, l thought l’d say a big hello and welcome to anyone new around here and do a bit of a reintroduction. Although it took me blummin ages, I confess I actually really enjoyed making this. It’s tipping it down here today ☔️💦 so I had a good trawl through my camera reel and writing the captions was quite therapeutic - kinda like journaling. I can guarantee Mr N will hate them - but as you might guess, it’s me that’s wearing them not him so that’s the end of that discussion 😝🤣😜 The book on slide 9 is ‘Strong’ by the amazing Jacqueline @hergardengym who I met in the Lake District through @rambleworldwide and @ageismisneverinstyle and I’ve just finished it. I’d highly recommend a read. It’s a mine of information. The chapter on pelvic floor health was exactly what I needed to know. The universe delivered just at the right moment!

  1. Firstly thanks @netflixuk and @loveisblindnetflix for this unreal experience. So, I booked a random flight to India straight after because, honestly, I needed my soul to be healed again. After everything I had just been through, I felt completely blindsided. It was the first time I had dated someone who I thought was genuinely spiritual, and when it ended, I found myself trying to make sense of everything I had experienced. But I knew one thing: I didn’t want to allow myself to sit in a rut. So I carried on searching. Seeking. Learning. I ended up taking a flight to Sri Lanka, where I met some of the most amazing, grounded and real spiritual people. I wasn’t able to speak openly about everything I had just gone through, especially having had an ex fiancé on TV, but I was able to share enough, listen to their stories and connect with people in a way that helped all of us grow. Then I went scuba diving alone. There is something about being underwater that makes me feel completely content. There’s no outside noise. No distractions. Just me, my breath and the most beautiful environment around me, the ocean. I went surfing, learnt new skills, pushed myself outside of my comfort zone and even found myself standing on the edge of a train, looking out at the world, feeling like I was quite literally at the edge of it. I finished the four weeks with a private yoga and Ayurvedic retreat, a little time to slow down, reflect and treat myself. And by the end of those four weeks, I felt free again. I didn’t want to allow the end of a relationship to put me in a rut. But I also gave myself the time and space to actually heal. What I went through wasn’t easy, and I don’t want to pretend that it was. But I chose not to let it define me. I know I will always be ready and open for love. This experience won’t change that. And to anyone going through something similar, especially if you’ve found yourself caught up with someone avoidant or emotionally unavailable, keep calm and genuinely carry on. Your life isn’t over because a relationship ended. If anything, it’s only just begun. 🤍

  3. I was out on a nice run this morning around 10:30. The route I run, the path ends which requires you to cross the road. As I approached this part and looked over my shoulder, this man was on his bike arms length away from me. He startled me and I nearly lost my balance because of it. At first, I didn’t think anything of it, I crossed the road and pulled back thinking he would cycle on ahead. He didn’t. Instead he just cycled next to me staring at me waving his phone up and attempted to approach me. I stopped running and then quickly got my phone out to record as something didn’t feel right and I felt unsafe. He then stopped too. I walked back in the opposite direction and he just sat there looking at me. He then approached me and continued to say ‘sorry’… Another runner ran past me, didn’t stop either (typical man I say!). Then the man on the bike went back in the direction he came from. Further to that, he clearly knew the route I was running and was waiting for me at the bottom where he saw me again. I’ve no idea what he was going to do but had I not had turned around at that point god knows what would have happened. This sort of thing has happened to me before and #kentpolice (can’t be tagged which explains why because they’re fucking useless) didn’t do anything about it. Men, you need to do better. All the good men, please get behind us women and help make us feel safe. I was out for a fucking peaceful run at 10:30am which then quickly escalated into my nervous system going into fight mode and constantly looking over my shoulder. This was NOT innocent!! These predators need to face consequences and the police need to be exposed for their piss poor practise.
